Believe it or not many women do not like a "handsome" guy for their boyfriend. They feel "upstaged" by a handsome guy.
But, you must have strong other qualities such as kindness, intelligence, athleticism etc.
My favorite example of an ugly guy is Henry Kissinger. He was Secretary of State under Nixon. He used to show up at parties with very glamorous women about 6 inches taller than him
He was intelligent and powerful. Very attractive to some women.
In short, be the best that you can be given your talents.

I've seen some beautiful women be with ugly guys. Heck remember that ugly country singer with the big ears? His name escapes me..
I think women are attracted to other things other than looks. I am not particularly attractive and all the girls that have gone out with me said that I came across as sweet, tender, trustworthy, and that I listened to them.
You could also try learning something really well, like card tricks or something to use as an ice breaker.
I remember a friend of mine did this, he would go to a club at a time when it is not busy, look for a group of women hanging out, then pick the least attractive girl, go up to her and shake her hand and say you couldn't help but say hello to her. Then go back to your seat and pretend like it didn't happen. You will make one girl's night and might end up with more girls trying to figure you out. I figure if you do this twice a night you will eventually hit pay dirt..
Good luck bro.

Have confidence in yourself. It always works. groom well, wear ironed clothes and spray just a little bit of colone. And don't think that you are not handsome. YOU ARE HANDSOME. Everyone have different taste in men. I personally don't like model looking pretty boys.

just be yourself. Dont listen to the person above. Act like you care about ur self and show us sweet side without being to sweet girls fall for it. I know I was sucker for it for a guy I didnt think was cute at the time and we have been together for a 1 and 8 months.

Being good looking isn't everything. Just be yourself and honest. Look a girl in the eye when you talk to her and make her feel like she is the most important person and that will make a good start.

Being yourself is always the best thing to do. Try to be confident, girls don't like guys who have low self esteem. And try to find someone who has something in common with you, half the time people don't do that because of looks. And that'swhere it go's wrong:]

be confident, show off your good qualities, and use your personality as your defining feature. Trust me, it works, because you can only look at a person so long, you eventually have to talk to them, and if they've got a great sense of humor and superb attitude, it's better then being good looking any day.

the beauty in not being attractive is that when you do find someone she is there because of who you are, not because you would be a good ordament on her arm. Just be yourself. Ask some of the girls out.
