My boyfriend says that he wants to have sex with me, but whenever we're about to do it, he says that we should wait until next time we see each other to have sex. Then, last night he started talking about sex again and he said that he's not sure he wants to have sex with me because he's afraid of hurting me.

He's not the 1st guy to say that to me though. Previous boyfriends have said the same thing, that they won't have sex with me because they are afraid of hurting me. What's with that?

Are you still a virgin? If so they really could be afraid of hurting you. Or maybe they just don't want to have sex with you.

These guys obviously respect you enough to let you know they would only be using you for sex. They are not talking about hurting you physically during sex, but emotionally - after they've used you. Keep in mind, the sexually transmitted diseases they could be passing around. Someone told me a girl's vaginal wart was so big, it had to be moved to one side like a boulder so she could deliver her baby - yeah, a baby too - is that what you want? WAIT WAIT WAIT - you don't need to do it.

He wants to have sex but doesnt love you and he is afraid it will mean more to you than to him and you will get hurt. He is being honest.

take it as a compliment! alot of men would have had sex with you and then ran!
If you feel that you are really ready to make that move with your boyfriend, explain to him that he need not be afraid of huting you, and that you feel that your relationship is ready to go to that next stage.

uhhh, are you married? Sex is normal, but it is normal in marriages, and it is not normal within just dating relationships.
