I have a boyfriend in California and I live in Hawaii. I only get to see him a week out of the month. I am having surgery next tuesday that will cause for me not to have any sexual intercourse for 2 months. So I REALLY REALLY want to see my b/f this weekend before my surgury. The money is not the issue but he has 2 kids from a previous marriage. He has taken his kids every weekend for 9 years with no hassle except for this past month he hasn't been dependable due to flying out on buisness in Atlanta and my visiting a weekend last month.
How or what should he say or do to have me there this weekend? Any ideas? We are desperate for HELP?!?!?!?! PLEASE!!!!

I would be wondering why he is keeping his kids from coming to know you? What is the big deal if his kids are there? What alternatives do you have if you both want to be together and his ex is being bitchy? What about the grandparents or aunts and uncles? If you are flying to see each other for a week every month, isn't it time the family come to know you? They may be the answer to the dilemma. I don't know who's idea it is that the kids aren't around while you're there, but the it does kind of define the quality of your relationship.
