If theyre not then they probably get complimented all the time. Why do they need yet more reassurance that theyre thin? Im not talking girls borderlining thin and chubby,just girls that are obviously thin.

I been keep like a journal or diary about her. All her likes and dislikes, what she is was wearing on our first, when first kissed basically about the little that we (guys) usually forget, recorded so I could remeber. I haven’t been in this situation by the way. I am a guy and happily single. But I am just curious why people have affairs if they truly loved their partner? And would you ever forgive your partner? If you say it depends on the circumstance, then what would those circumstances be? It’s just if that ever happened to me I would never be able to forgive her, under any circumstances.

Just sharing/venting. Am I a fool for keeping in touch with my first love who is now married? He's been married for about 5 years now and has a child. He hasn't told me this, but I know he only married her because he got her pregnant. I had my chance to get back with him years ago, but I wasn't ready. He cheated on me about 7 years ago and I just didn't know if I could trust him after that. When I was ready to tell him that I wanted him back, a week later I found out that his soon-to-be wife was pregnant and they were to be married within weeks. I ran into him recently (weeks ago) and we've both admitted that we still hold strong feelings for one another. But HE'S MARRIED!!! I love him, but I know that I wouldn't want to be the reason for a failed marriage. I have to end communication with him, but I don't want to. I don't see him often. Only telephone communication. How should I end this?

See I gave a guy who used to always make a point to smile at me and say hi too me at work a Christmas card. I slipped a photo of me in it as well, and included my phone number. That was before Christmas break and he still hasn't called. I'm depressed and hurt.
He weighs about 250 but is really cute. I like bigger men. Plus he's really shy. Other than that, I don't know why he wouldn't call--he's insecure? I have decided to join one or two internet dating sites. I hear you all but I will give it a go. I am 41, only been in long term relationships and I feel ready and willing to find that special someone again. I just got off one of da best relationships of my life ....... the feeling SUCKS !!,,,,
knowing that ill never be able to call her sweetie or honey again ,, that il never be able to kiss her again or that il never be able to just gaze into her eyes for no reason at all... IT really breaks Ur heart......

I know so many people who have broken up at the 2.5 year mark or close to it. Some have gotten back together some have not. It seems to me that most do end up getting back together. Has anyone else seen this? Why do you think this is? Do you think most get back together or stay apart?

there was this girl in my class in undergrad coll whom i admired at the beginning and later told her abt!! but really nothing happenned !! and i forgot abt it totally!! there was a little bit cold between both!! but i think it became kinda forgotten!!
now i m in postgrad !!she is doing post grad !! she is in a relationship i think with sumbody!!but i think she has fallen very sick and had to hospitalised!! although she is a very good friend of my best friend and other friends of my group!!

What do you do about a guy that says he loves you but needs time to sort out his feelings? He says he needs time to see how much I mean to him. I dont get it. I didnt call him one night because I was busy with my kids and then not feeling well and he took it like I dont care about him. Now he wont take my apology and he says he needs time to make sure it wont happen again but he loves me. What does that mean??? Why is he playing games?? Wouldnt it be better to be together to work this out?? Why are guys so difficult???

I asked this a few hours ago but no one is up at that time

I have a crush on my gym instructor. I'd like to ask her out. not b/c I think we would match terribly well but rather b/c I thik we may both have fun with it. Some facts to consider:

Pros:
a) I find her attractive b/c she is really fit (duh!) and b/c she is so obviously very different from how I am and in addition seems very careless
b) she always complements me on how I do in class
c) she makes more small talk with me than with others and sometimes we walk to the subway together after

Cons:
a) I don't want to make her uncomfortable, and I'd like to keep going to her class
b) She's much older than I am -- in her mid-40s. I am in my late 20s.
c) She's not the brightest bulb -- but being together with grad students all the time this may be a nice break, keeping in mind that I wouldn't want anything serious and am rather looking for some fun (and I'd only do it if she were in the same position)

anyone done this? Any tips
