My ex and I broke up about 2 weeks ago and we decided to still be best friends because we are best friends, and lovers. Just not the lover part anymore. It feels so hard because I still see him almost everyday and I dont want to loose this friendship with him, because he has been a good friend during these last two years, just a bad boyfriend. He's already moving on by dating and still maintaining to be friends with me. So I think its possible to stay friends, but how else can I move on while still being best friends with him?

Okay here is the situation. I just recently got engaged to the most incredible man I have ever met, but here is my concern. He has been with lots of women. In the past after he has dumped someone he has a new woman the next day, and so on, and so on. Well one of his female online friends emailed me and said she hoped that we didn't last, because she was my backup. I approached him on that and he said that she was lying, I mean should I be concerned he has have had a track record with women.? Been married twice almost 3 times.

Oh and when we are out in public I am all of a sudden just the girlfriend and not the fiance anymore. He says girlfriend and fiance are interchangeable. What makes me feel bad is when I introduce him to someone at a bar I introduce him as my fiance and when he introduces me to women at a bar I am the girlfriend but to males at the bar I am the fiance. That hurts me to know that he can just flip flop my title whenever it is convienient for him.

i only found out 2 months ago my boyfriend has a mobile phone which he says is an extra one he keeps at work and that he is not the only one who uses it. i have got the number(which i dont think he realises that i have)so i rang it again and witheld the number,he answered it again. he never brings it home i think he is hiding something.he has 2 main mobys one which just recently he has started to leave at home i found a message on it from an old girl-friend it was sent christmas night at 11.30 which was three days ago. im really fed up of feeling that he isnt sharing things with me.dont want to argue with him and i have told him in the past that i just want him to be straight with me and stop keeping things from me.and now we are back to square one, me always finding things out some advice is needed please.

He spends too much time with them and all they do is drinking and talking. None of his friends have a steady relationship and i am afraid that he is just looking at them and not taking a risk to get into something special with me. I know he loves me but he keeps keeping himself away from me so he won't get too much involved. What should i do? I have a 2 questions...

1) Why is it that if a girl is dating a older man it is unexceptable but if a guy does he is favored... like highly respected??? and i mean it may be only 3 or 4 yrs difference.

Ok so i went to this party with all my friends to an ice skating arena and i was skating next to a person i have liked for a while. we started to talk and every thing was going great when she sais,"i love you". I've been dating someone since this past summer. I'll admit things got pretty serious pretty quickly. On Sunday she said we needed to talk about "us." She said she needs space. She still loves me and her feelings haven't changed, but she just needs space to figure things out right now. I asked if she was dumping me, and she said no. We were talking about getting a dog, living together when my current lease is up, and going on a trip this spring/summer. I'm so confused. If she loves me and her feelings haven't changed, why would she do this? I flat out asked if she had cheated on me, and she said no. She'd been REALLY hurt in the past when someone cheated on her, so I don't think that's really an option. Is it possible she's just scared because we've moved so quickly? What do I do? Do I sit back and wait for her to come back to me or do I still call and text her so she'll know I'm still interested?
