For instance, a man and woman meet a man online, they chat numerous times..discover a plethera of things they have in common..enjoy the same humor, the same interests, etc. Then they finally meet in person.. face to face. It seems to go reasonably well..then the man never responds again.. never says hello.. simply drops off the face of the earth instead of doing the polite and considerate thing and telling her that it did not work for him, etc. etc. or the woman tells the man it just didn't 'click' for her, and then SHE disappears into the stratosphere. There are so many other ways that people show no consideration for the other person's feelings.. but why do they do it? Whatever happened to common courtesy? Merry Christmas.

Basically i have been dating her for 6 years and the last 2-3 months have really flipped. I used to not call her and not answer her calls while she called and texted me all the time. We would fight and she would cry and beg for me back. Butin september we got into a fight and she said she wanted to break up because i said something really nasty to her. I basically begged her and said what ever i had to say finally after an hour of fighting she came to my place and we made up. Ever since then shes been ascting more independant of me and hasn't been calling as much and keeps doing that break up with me talk and then takes it back. She keeps trying to hurt my feelings shes enjoying it as i once did and it seems the nicer i am the meaner she is. Shes really enjoying this i can tell, she now has all the power i can't believe it i want it to be equal how do i get power back???? and merry xmas

I miss my ex dearly, we have been together for nearly 2 years and we broke up recently because we wanted each other to experience what we might be missing out when we were together. We are 19. We are classmates and have been best friends ever since year 1. We are still able to stay as best friends now but it really hurts to know that we cannot have a romantic relationship anymore. It hurts like hell. I miss him alot, but i have to see him all the time in school. And sometimes he will ask me out for a movie, just the two of us, because he regards me as a friend. But i cannot keep my hands off him sometimes, it just comes naturally. I also cannot stand the fact that we have to go out with our same group of friends together without him. Our friends will only ask either of us out at any one time. I don't know what to do but i hate to move on. I really want to marry him even because i think that he is a great person. With us being friends now, do u guys think we might even have a chance

My long term, live in girlfriend and I split up and she moved out. We split up because we argued too much. She hooks up with the first guy that comes along and is now pregnant by him after just moving out of my house months ago.

Is he a rebound?

The new guy doesn't want the baby and has stopped talking to her a couple of months ago. Even though they don't talk both of their profiles say "In a relationship"

My friends tell me that she is waiting for him to change his mind. My friends also tell me that she looks at my profile regulary.

How could she do this? Was he a rebound? Why doesn't she miss me the way I miss her? Why are they still "in a relationship" even though they don't talk? Do you think she has regrets about leaving me? Why is this driving me crazy?

You know what... suddenly I feel that I do not deserve this girl at all. She is way too perfect for me: Beautiful, kind, caring, friendly, et cetera. Even though I deeply care for her, suddenly I feel so lonely, so alone here. I feel that I do not deserve her.

A week ago, I met him at a singles dance party. He's a web software developer and I told him that I had designed and published my own site and asked him to check it out. I wrote down the URL and while doing so, he asked me for my email address. I forgot to ask for his. Yesterday he emailed me with 3 paragraphs of technical advice on my site, but no personal message at all. He ended with "Take Care".

I then replied by thanking him for the tips, that I would do some, not all of them. Then I told him that I was going to this other singles party which they gave out invite cards for at the first one and that he should go too. I also said maybe he and I could email back and forth if he was up for it.

I'm confused as to why he was so impersonal, yet he took the time to really look over my site and gave real pertinent advice. It's too soon for him to respond. I sent my reply late last night.
