he's shy and so am i, but i really like him and i know he wont make the first move. so how can i get things started? any thing ?

Have him walk you home, or to your door. Say you had a nice night. If he doesn't try to kiss you just lean over and give him a quick kiss. That will give him the okay!

ok i know this can be really scary...but if the moments right and you both want it, there's nothing much to it.
Get him alone, suggest you go for a walk because "you need some air". When you two are close, gently brush against him. Body contact is good. Let him know you're comfortable with him.
Eye contact is essential... avoiding his gaze will make you seem shy and nervous, which will make him less likely to make a move if he is thinking about it. So catch his eye, hold it...look away for a second, catch it again, smile.. look down, bite your lip.. anything flirty. I'm sure he'll get the picture.
If he doesn't (!!!!) i guess you'll just have to make the move. You could try turning a hug into a kiss on the cheek...and hint at the possibility of more...if he seems ok with it...GO FOR IT! since its the first kiss, keep it a simple peck...that way if he didnt want it, it wouldnt be as embarrassing as a full on french =P

start with a peck on the cheek or lips and a hug, even from a males stand point the first kiss is kinda scary, but if he likes you he might back up for a few minutes then he will probably return the favor

hm my first kiss was like...2-3 days before i had smsd him saying......i dont like kisses they spread germs......but you can kiss me coz iam vaccinated....hehehe
and then one night we were having a chat under a tree..and he was like lets spread germs..u have nothing to worry.hehehe
and from there it went on......try it if u can....some people just dont like to hear the word kiss....coz it makes them shy etc...so use a code word between ur'll....its awesome....coz even in fron of people we talk about germs and only we both know what it is...hehehe
