i went out on a blind date with a guy i had been talking to over the phone for a week. he knew a friend of mine. he saw my picture at her house and he said i was beautiful and she gave me his number. i seen a picture of him and he was attractive (he e-mailed it to me). he's was very nice and has his head on straight, but he had self esteem issues. so he tells me he is a little on the hefty side and says that he is insecure about his size (then i wondered how old that picture was). then he tells me about the bad break up with his girlfriend (pity party). so to rush this, we meet..he's very unattractive...i still give him a chance because i am not shallow..i flirt with him (hard, more than i needed to)..he starts talkin about how he doesn't want to be hurt and he thinks i'm the ONE(moving waaaaaaay too fast)..and he gets too touchy feely. so i wanna break it off without hurting his feelings or pissing him off. i gave him a chance and he still disgusted me. what should i do?

me and my mum were talking about my friend and her boyfriend the other day , about how her mum and dad are letting her internet boyfriend stay with them , because they like him and they have spoken to him over the phone.i have also met someone on the net and would REALLY like them to stay.so i asked my mum would she ever let some one stay over who i met on the net and she said 'erm...depends how close you are to them and if i like him' do you think if i asked her can he stay she would say yes?

a friend of mine said "friendship becomes love" when a girl is very close friends with a guy. and i said "no not all the time!" and she said " well maybe not in your case" and what she ment by that was that i may not have had feelings for the boy but he may have had feelings for me. now that i think about it, the two closest guy friends ive once had ive suspected had a crush on me.

It seems that all of my girlfriends have been really heavy. I mean, they are nicely rounded in all the right places with real cute faces. I am a thin guy. It's just that I like them really heavy. Is that a sort of sexual sickness?

Wow, after 5 years with this girl, SHE (keyword- she) asked me to marry her! LOL! I couldn't believe it. However, I just am not ready to get married yet so I flushed the ring down the toilet, a whole $3,000 she just wasted. Not only that but she can be someone else's headache. Did I do her wrong?

I just turned 18 two days ago. In these 18 years, Ive never had a gf.. or kissed a girl, or anything.

Now it really has me worrying. I have a few friends that are girls, but mostly all my friends are guys. At first I wasnt worried because the majority of my friends didnt have one, but slowly over the past few months Ive become the only one who doesnt have one. I donno why I cant get one. Im pretty quiet in school and only talk to my friends, and now that Im aware that Im so pathetic that Ive never had a gf that is has started affecting my courage when Im around girls and whatnot.

And now my friends keep teling each other stories about how they are all hooking up with their gfs and Im sitting there.. never having had a gf and I just feel horrible. What can I do to turn this around? I dont just want a gf to have one, I just feel lonely and crappy now because I dont have someone to be with, and I really dont know what I do differently than other guys. What do I do?!

I'm 23 and quite mature, stable, and in no way dependent on outside funding from a man. A man has crossed my path who is 36 and interested. Though I was initially concerned about the age gap, he's really pretty nice. Only 2 dates so far..

Why is it that the one person who believes in love, the one person who really truly believes in its existance and in its magic always seem to end up with the complete opposite: the one who does not really want it, who does not really believe in it, the one who does not like to be tied down. Why is it that those people take our trust and then slam it in our face and kick us while we are down, over and over again. It is not like she has only done this once, but many many times. Why do such people like to hurt us hopeless romantics? Why do we end up with people who take us for granted, who don't respect or honor us or love, and with people who just do not care that they are doing this to us? Why!!!??? Why do we get hurt?

Okay....here is the detail on what is happening with myself where I live. I live with some friends and I was intruduced to someone they knew because I wanted to meet her. Afterwards they started telling me about her and saying that I shouldn't be with her because she would never be able to become a productive member of society and because I could do better.
