Well it's only a one year difference, but how do people look upon a relationship between a 16 year old girl and a 15 year old guy? (The guy skipped a grade though)

Why should you worry about what people think if you really like this guy.

Age is just a number. It shouldn't matter the age after a certain point. 15 and 16 are quite young to be thinking a serious relationship.

One year is fine. No worries. And it's okay for the girl to be a little older, especially if they are in the same grade and have classes and friends in common. Go for it.

My boyfriend is 10 years younger then me! At first everybody was a jerk about it, but then they realized we were having a better time then they were and they shut up. Now some of them are jealous! Go for it!

i know what you mean, my ex was a year younger, its weird cos an older guy can go out with someone younger but when a girl does it some people can say things. ignore these people, they are simply jealous or have nothing better to do with their time than to gossip!!

Sweetie you got bigger problems to worry about now like school than a one year age difference with a boy... get your education this boy probably wont be with you when you graduate and who cares..

Don't worry about it. To me, it's no big thing. If you like each other, then I say go for it. When you're both at school, it's really no one else's business if they say anything about it. Best of luck to you.
