Singles & Dating - 20 December 2006

Ok this is a really tricky one...here goes.

I met this girl while working in the summer of '06, and ever since I met her, I have not been able to get her out of my head. We dated 3 times, however there was no kissing etc.. Anyway university came and I spoke to her every other week, and I was suppossed to go and see her, however she cancelled on me. But to my surprise she came and saw me the week later. We all went on a night out, and she even slept in my bed with me...however nothing happened. Xmas is here and I am working with her again, and I have invited her out but she says she is really busy with coursework and other things.

So I really want to be with her, I sometimes become emotional when thinking about her, even shedding a tear or 2 because I like her that much, its depressing me. I just want to know what I should do. Do I persist with her? is she interested but shy? is she just looking for friendship? And how the hell do I stop thinking about her?

im sort of going out with this guy but it isnt going very well because i hardly see him and hardly talk to him....its only just sort of started...and....
i was chatting to his friend, and he told me all this stuff about him...
apparently his dad is an alcoholic and beats him, he puts him down and pisses him off, and he is always fighting with his brothers....so its why he's always depressed and he goes counselling.

and his friend told me not to tell him i know all of this because he'll get vexed...and i dont want that. its the xmas holidays and im not going to see him (its a long story...i havent even got his number!), but anyway....

i feel so helpless! and really sorry for him, what shall i say when i see him again? i want him to open up to me coz i care for him and i want to help.

we were good friends before we went out and i feel something for him. and i think i love him? but i don't know. like he's great to be with and he's pretty awesome and funny and i can count on him but when i hug him it doesn't feel like...
i don't know if its the fact that he's really taller then me and i;m really shorter then him but it doesn;t feel right like.. i mean i think about him a lot. but...theres something that doesn't feel right. and i'm sorta feeling something i dontknow for my ex. which is his bestfriend but we both seem to have "moved on" and we talked about the situation.

Women, why do i have to have the following qualities for you to like me. Whatever happen to being yourself. This is all retarded and stupid it was easier to find friends than a girlfriend. What does it mean when a girl looks at you then looks down as she walks by? Is she shy?
Today I pass this girl in the hallway. She is walking toward me,I look directly at her, and she does the same and we both maintain the eye contact around 2 seconds, After about 2 seconds, she looks down as we pass each other. Interpretation?
after next day i saw her but doesn't make the eye contact i mean she saw me and immedialtly looks away.

She moved in with her brother. It's actually 2 doors down. I'm 19 and currently living at my parents house because I just got done with my semester at college and waiting to buy an apartment. But anyway. I rarely ever see either one of them, but when I did see her she was drop dead gorgeous. She's maybe a little older, not even a year, but if I could get the chance to talk to her then I could totally win her over.
