What does it mean when a girl looks at you then looks down as she walks by? Is she shy?
Today I pass this girl in the hallway. She is walking toward me,I look directly at her, and she does the same and we both maintain the eye contact around 2 seconds, After about 2 seconds, she looks down as we pass each other. Interpretation?
after next day i saw her but doesn't make the eye contact i mean she saw me and immedialtly looks away.
Also i knew that she has boyfriend from last 6 months.
what should i understand about her behaviur?

Women are trained from an early age not to maintain eye contact with a man. By doing this they do not offer any threat to a male. It is their way of saying, "I am not here." In this manner they are also eliminating any threat to themselves, or so they think.

aight heres what you do, next time she looks, wink. give a slight smile, and see what her reaction is. itl show you are at least looking, you know? after the wink, if she smiles back, or attempts to at least make contact with you, be cool, dont be like omg i saw you in the hall way, omfg ur hot! yea thats stupid lol

She is interested but unsure how to go about letting you know. And maybe she is a little shy. Try talking to her.

maybe she likes you, (or at least you look good), and she's shy.
considering she has a boyfriend, i'd say maybe she likes you and doesnt know what to do about it.
