My girlfriend and I broke up last Friday. We had been living together for about five months. She has two kids who I have loved since day one. I have come to call them my own. I am truely in love with her and would do anything to get her back.

The problem is that she claims to be confused about what she wants. She has been talking to her x-bf, and says she still loves him. Nothing I did really drove her away that she didn't already know about. When I first moved in with her she knew I didn't make a lot of money. I am a med student and don't have the chance to work as much as I would like. This other guy is a construction worker and must do pretty good income wise. She says its not a money thing and that in the long run she knows I am better for her and her children but cant seem to stay on the right track.

Do I give her the time to think, even though she sees him on occasion? Or do I move on? I can't seen to get her out of my mind and try not to call, but I do. What do I do?

lived in another state (about 800 miles) and they were supposedly between jobs (whatever that is supposed to mean) and therefor had free time and you had a job where you got 2 days off that weren't together. He wants you to fly to his town and stay with him (not a good idea, I don't think) for a few days. I think it makes more sense for him (since he has free time) to fly to the large city I live in and stay at a motel near by so we could meet for lunch, etc around my work schedule as I would probably have a day off in that time. I think it makes more sense for him to fly to a large city where he can stay at a motel and we could visit around my work schedule than for me to fly to some small town where there are no motels and stay with him (I would never stay with a complete stranger). He thinks it is a better idea for me to come there. I think it is a terrible idea and I am probbably going to delete him for this reason. He seems to be looking for the same things I am.

I have been with her for 6 years. I was already thinking about getting married. The last three months I noticed a lot of changes in her. I eventually found out she was cheating on me with one of her co-workers. She says she only did it twice but had been flirting and talking to him for about three months. Our relationship seemed perfect and no one saw it coming. everyone in her family and mine thought we would live happy forever. Now she says she can change. She does not make any excuses and says it had nothing to do with me and how I treated her. she says it was her own issues and she is seeing a therapyst. I asked her not to call me and to give me time and that is exactly what she is doing. I spoke to her a few times and she makes a lot of promisses and keeps saying that she realizes what she lost. but that fact that she does not try harder to get me back makes me wonder if she really means it. She says she is just respecting what I told her (not to call me).what 2 do?

This girl gave me a hand-delivered road map to her heart in lavish handwriting adorned with gold leaf and all. I accepted her invitation. And once I arrived she told me she "wasn't ready". These are the games guys talk about. This is why some guys are bitter towards women (I'm not yet, but getting close). Guys, am I right? Anything I should know ladies? What SHOULD I take from this?

It's bad for your skin to lay out in the sun.
What's wrong with your natural color?
Can anyone explain this behavior?

Me and this guy have started fliritng I think!!! Im useless at picking up signs!

Anway, we were chatting yesterday and I found out he goes to uni as I do so i was telling im studying psychology. He then said so you can read my mind and I jaoking well trying! he then smiled at me raised his eyebrows up and asked me what he was thinking then and there - I felt that it was sort of cheeky suggestive?? so I started laughing and said Im not saying at which point I started laughing too. later in the conversation I said something about reading his body language and he asked me what it said so i checked him out from head to foot (any excuse!) and then i just started to laugh again and didn't answer!

I felt like it was quite a flirty thing going on but I'm useless at anything like that!!!

a friend of mine recently broke up with her boyfriend.

they've been going out for the past two years, were in love, however they broke up and got back together many times. He's cheated on her before (while intoxicated), however she always took him back.

Now they've broken up for good (he broke up with her) and he keeps telling her "I want to want to love u and be with you" and while she's trying to get over him, he isn't letting her.

What should I say to her when she talks to me about it?

(btw we are juniors in high school, this isn't like THAT serious of a relationship)
