Singles & Dating - 9 December 2006

A country boy has fallen in love with a city girl who is his classmate in college.They are different in terms of econimic background;the girl was born in a rich family,the boy was born in a relatively poor family.And as you can imagine the surroundings in which both were brought up ,was respectively different.
Lets go on with the story.One day,the boy told the girl his all good feelings on her;however the girl didn't respond with an expected feedback,saying let's be friends.The boy was disappointed and didn't ask for futher reasons why she refused.
Days after,the boy encourged himself to invite the girl for dinner,and she agreed.They had happy talks at table,the girl was happy,very enjoyable,so was the boy.Up till now,they had several dinners together and couples of walks in the cold winter.And the relationship between them seems get somewhere,more than just classmates.So where is it going to develop to?The boy has no idea.
To promote this relationship,what should the boy be doing?

Our fourteen year old daughter has been harrassed, & now has confronted our daughter & constantly is threatning her. The reason-------- her ex-boyfriend ( I would hardly call him that, they hardly ever talked on the phone, & never seen eachother because he is 1 year older & now attends high school ) has a new girlfriend who is absolutely obsessed with him & the fact that our daughter is his ex. As a mother who in school, never experienced anything like this, ( I was a jock, stuck up for all who got bullied, & people were just intimidated by me) my first initial reaction would be to beat the living hell out of this chick, however, thats definetly not the answer, as an adult that is just not acceptable, & being a true believer & lover of CHRIST JESUS, I am to walk in love under all circumstances. But I have been walking in love for the past 14 years of our daughters life . I also know that I have to set an example because we have 4 daughters. ( there all younger than her) What to do?

hmm so theres this girl I'v been hanging out with who I really like but shes never had a boyfriend and doesn't party, shes different then most girls I usually go after but shes real chill, i'm just worried she won't "get" any of the signals I'm sending/ will send and that she'll be weirded out cause shes not used to it. We've been on a date and I didn't even try to hook up cause I can tell shes shy and not used to it (i wouldnt be surprised if shes never been kissed) any advice on where to go from this, we had a great time but I don't wanna risk entering the friend zone!

so i've liked this guy for a very long time. and over the year as his close friend became my close friends, we became friends. the more i got to know him, the more i started to like him. though i never heard it for myself, i believed he did had feelings for me. as i tried to confess my feelings to him, i somehow couldn't because i really enjoy having his friendship. i was afraid that if i did do it, it might make things ackward if things don't go right between me and him and the rest of our friends?

what should i do? risk it? am i just using this as an excuse to not face my fear?

Anything. I lost contact with the girl of my dreams. Been writing her since June and only one letter that I know of got through and that was almost a month ago. Don't have her new address where she's stationed; no phone number either. We're both in Iraq (she's military, I just got out), so I can't hop in a car and go to her base. Don't even know if she's interested, since I haven't heard back, and I don't want to be a stalker if she's not interested.

Yep, that's about it. 10 points for someone who can make me smile.

Me and my lover both study several fighting techniques(and how much of a knob do I sound saying that), anyway, we occassionally spar, and though he's twice my size, I am twice as fast, so it's quite even.

Anyway, last night he pushed me a bit in jest, and my reaction was to punch him at full force into the chest. I didn't really meant, to, it's just what I did without thinking. We very quickly descended into a full blown fight, with neither of us holding back, and we actually wrecked our kitchen and downstairs bathroom. Then we started to have sex, while still fighting! It was a bit like Mr and mrs Smith.

Anyway, it was the most awesome sex I have ever had, even though I can't even stand today because my legs are so bruised and bashed, and my lover limped off to work with a split lip and th remains of a nosebleed.
Has anyone else experienced something so weird? Coz I never thought I would enjoy something like that and I'm a bit worried we are going to get into pain and stuff now

My name is Sam. I'm 17. My boyfriend, Jason, and I have been together for a month and we really love each other. The problem is ever since last weekend since I saw Cody, my old crush (more like the feeling of a soulmate), I can't get him out of my head. There's alot of anicent history between me and Cody. Mostly sad, but I still fell drawn to Cody more the I do Jason even though I love him dearly. The worst part is when I ordered these personalized romance novels and I put my name and Jason's name in the books. When I got finished with the first book, I realized when I read the book I pictured Cody as the hero and not Jason. I have no idea what to do. I've been with my gf for 19 months now. I love her, i can honestly say i do. Lately we've just been fighting none stop like a married couple, and i've found myself, feeling the urge to just end it, because its getting to the point where i cant take it anymore. I havn't because i look at it as, its just a phase, we'll get passed it, we've been together this long, we can get through anything, but its just everyday the same bull. and i'm finding im not as happy of a person, because im just so angry and frustrated. i dont like to emotionally attach myself to people. i dont like to spend time in groups. i have loads of friends but i dont like going on trips with them on weekends to the beach.. i would rather go alone or spend time with myself. or with my family.
i havent had many serious relationships because i need my space, i hate people calling me up all the time. yes i think i need to be cared about but not smothered.
i like my friends but i dont like spending all my time with people.
also i get really embarrased when im hugged and i have a difficult time telling emotional things to people or even personal things. and i use humour, wit and sarcasm to cover it up. if a guy would ask me out, i would eye it with suspicion that why is anyone doing that? is he so desperate for a date to ask me out?

is this very unusual? do i need help? am i just shy? do u think i can ever have a serious relationship
