Yes, it was. Unfortunately, it is becoming increasingly more common for people who want to avoid conflict to break up with their boyfriend or girlfriend via IM or email. It seems to me that if you're going to dump someone, you should at least have enough respect for them to tell them face to face. The only exception might be breaking up with someone with a history of violence; in that case, it might be best to do it from a distance.

But look at it this way, at least she told you. Sometimes guys just stop answering their girlfriend's phone calls and stop answering the door, and she has no idea what's going on. That's got to be the lowest, cheapest, most cowardly way of handling a break-up I can think of.

Anyway, sorry for your loss and the way it occurred. But maybe she's right: you can do better. She sounds like a lot of trouble to me.

She did you dirty. I have to say. That was a mean childish way to end things. I feel for you. In my experience, when someone says "Im no good for you. I still love you." what they are really saying is "I don't have the balls to tell you that I dont want to be your girlfriend anymore". I think its horrible.

Move on honey. You are a young guy and you will recover. One day at a time.

But don't try to get back with her. Girls love to be begged. Dont give her the satisfaction!
Good luck.

What a terrible thing to do. She sounds immature and selfish. And in the middle of class. Hang out with friends, dude, and the best thing that can happen is, just don't do that to someone else.

you have alot of history together and maybe shes just had enough. there are alot worse ways to break up with someone. like eg: getting a text,or sendin your friend to do it. etc

Maybe she cheated and thats why she is a waste of your time. Who knows if she doesn't want to be with you don't dwell on it.
