right asked a guy if he fancied meeting up for coffee sometime and he said yes that would be great. that was 2 days ago and hes not text me, im free tonight should i text him to see if he would like to go out or wait for him to ask me when he's ready too. ??

You asked him first and he agreed so now you have to suggest a time/place to meet. It's not up to him to ask you out when it was your suggestion initialy.

Because you asked him then I suggest you get in touch with him and find out what hes up to. If he can't make it then if he suggest another time you will know if he's really interested. If hes a bit evasive I'd leave it. Good luck!
