I have a guy friend, just a friend, that said something to me I dont get. He told me that I am the kind of girl he could fall for, but then later said he didnt want a relationship. What is that? He knows that I am not trying to have a relationship with him , so why would he say that?

He is trying to tell you that he is interested in you but you told him that your not wanting a relationship. So he is going to do the same until you change your mind. Girl he likes you

He is trying to manipulate you in to changing your mind about not wanting to have a relationship with him so that you will, then he can take control of you , dont give in to him, that way if you like him and do want a relationship with him , be just friends now and make him ask u out, u must be worth the while if he has tryed to manipulate u , but dont fall prey to that, good luck.

He's a man...need I say more? They are all scared of their feelings and are to chicken to say it. They would rather hurt a sweet lady than let them know how they feel. This happened to me this summer and you know what the best revenge is? Ignore the SOB. My 'friend' has a son the same age as my son, and so they play together and occasionally I need to go over to talk to my son, (They live in the same neighborhood as us) and I will give "him" a cold brushoff HI as I am talking to my son, then get im my car and leave. I know that he knows I liked him cause I told him so. But I also know he liked me, he knew I was coming over one day and came to the door in a towel, but I am SOOOOOO not that kind of gal, and he knew it. Now I haven't talked to him in over 3 months which is ok with me.
Anyway, don't waste your time. Move on.

Whoa, this is hard...maybe he's the kind of guy that changes overnight, I mean one day he says he's falling for you and another he's saying he dosen't want a relationship with you, that is wierd.

Hmmmmm..... maybe hes goin through puberty. Guys dont know what they are talking about through that time. Other suggestions:
Maybe he thought you wer sad and he wanted to cheer you up but wants to keep his friendship the same.

It means that he would but he knows you aren't interested in him. Its a cover-up on his part to avoid rejection from you. I might just be right, but if not , I tryed.
