we broke and now i need to move on.Theres a new guy that i met today.But i still love the other one.He says he just needs time to figure out if he still loves me.I don;t know what to do bc i'm very impatient.And to top all off i can't eat or sleep.i also don't want to see him with someone else.

First things first.. im shy.The only girlfriend i ever had was in 3rd grade. I know it sounds lame but her name was Rose. I was much more confident in elementary than later, because my mom chose me to go to a school where i knew no one. But thats the past...
Not only that i am also mixed with a wierd combination, Cambodia and Syrian. Which is hard to find in California. My confidence is also down because of how people stereotype middle eastern people so i feel wierd.
I have been told by girls that i am cute, but i dont know.... the person that said i was cute just all of sudden doesnt talk anymore. I dont get it its wierd. My mom is overprotective because she believes i have to study and then find a girl, but i dont feel that way. Shes been like that until now.
I feel the need to love someone, because i dont have someone i really love in my life. I take care of my body, but im 5.7 160 pounds, a bit over wieght? I dont think thats it though What could it be?

After breaking up with my ex for 5years. We are 1st love to each other 4 almost 5years together. But nw we seem to have lost touch. (although we have each other's contacts) Sometimes , I'm feeling we are v near to each other but far to meet. I am the 1 who end e relationship, cos i am really young at tat period of time (18yrs old) , my life is a just full of enjoyment with all my peers tat's y caused my relationship to end. It's my fault for not knowing how to balance. He do have a stable relationship right nw, so m i. But what can i do to make myself feel more comfortable? I asked a new girl at work out to coffee. Havent spoke to her much as she's in a different department. She said she would get back to me, she didnt, and a day later I left for another city. I was there for 4 weeks and I sent her email from there. No reply. I have taken the hint.

Two ques:

1. How should I react when I see her in the office? Should I just put my head down and keep walking?
2. I bought a house and will be having the house warming ceremony next week. Should I invite her?

It seems like all the guys who I date are such jerks. They're downright mean. Why is it so difficult to find a decent, christian man. I honestly don't think I want to date again. Such bad luck. Any of you other ladies have problems finding a decent man who doesn't lie, cheat or treat you badly? I wonder if I'm just a jerk magnet. I would like to know I'm not alone here!

Am just starting a new relationship with a guy I spent the last 3 years with at school. Nothing ever sparked in that time but now that we've graduated we decided to give it a go...except we can't get past the awkwardness of knowing each other as school friends and such. it seems to me that i am nice to guys until they develop a crush on me and then i want to avoid them. i'm not outright mean to them, i just don't go out of my way to talk to them anymore because i just don't feel comfortable, due to the fact that i've never had a boyfriend because i'm not allowed to date. i made friends with three asian guys, 2 of them a grade or so older than me and one in my grade. i was fine with our friendship until they got a crush on me and then i distanced myself from them, which causes our friendship to be not as close as it was before. i liked being friends with them too.
plus what also irritated me is that one of them would always think i was mad at him just because i don't go out of my way to find him and talk to him. but he doesn't go out of his way either so i'm like why should i?

i don't know if this matters but i'm asian too (filipino, chinese, irish, portugese, and spanish mix).

i have this friend, she's been my best friend since the 6th grade,
i'm in college now, so we've been friends for about 9 years.
i developed a crush in the ninth grade as i got to know her better. but i kept it to myself. she got with this one guy, and things were going smoothly for awhile then it went sour. she comes to me when she needs help/advice.i'll briefly skim, basically at the end of 9th grade i told her how i felt about her, she said it wasn't a good idea. it is now 2006 and she's had about 3 boyfriends, currently with one. we got to talking about regrets, she said she did have feelings for me and regretted saying no to relationship. she constantly complains about her bf, i love her so much and only want the best for her but it feels like she's looking for a guy who will be everything i Want to be to her but she still doesn't want a relationship with me. her bf's are always assholes,and i was always there for her,anyitme she needed me,i keep asking, what did i do wrong?

She hasn't been with anybody in two yrs. & just doesn'twant to get hurt again. She did text him yesterday & got no response. He told her that it wasn't a one night stand & proved it by keeping in touch. He told her that he wanted to spend time with her when he came in - he wants to make snow angles with her in the snow his parents have blown onto their yard. But, it doesn't seem right to her that he wouldn't call after making these plans.

for 5 yrs. We got on really well & went home together that night & he txtd me 2 days later. We spent the next 3 wks hanging out & were liking each other. We decided we weren't gonna sleep wit other people but then he tells me at 3 wks that an ex-fling is coming to spend Xmas with him (arranged b4 he met me) & that he wanted to be honest wit me as 'she wasn't gonna be sleeping on the couch'. I got a little upset, didn't know what to do then asked him to leave. He wanted to keep in touch with me and start things new in Jan when she leaves. I got drunk that night & sent some needy txts which made him angry. I have then txted him on/off and he keeps saying 'let me get Xmas outta the way and then we can see each other and that he doesn't want to complicate things/hurt anyone'. I haven't seen him or 2 wks & he hasn't initiated contact (only replied to me). I don't know how I'll feel in jan knowing that he didn't want to keep me going & tell her to sleep on the couch. What should I do?

Been wid him 4 almost-almost a year now ... Looks like im the only one who'z pulling the efforts in our relatioship ... Now i feel im chasing a shadow ...
