well i think so at least. We had been chatting for a while about plans for New Years, and he made me promise to go and stay woth him so we could go out, he wouldnt let go of me till i had said yes, adn it was after this that he said it, or i think he did, lol We at a club so the music was very loud and he was very drunk so not very coherent so im not entirely sure thats what he was getting at.

Now i dont really know what to do about this, he was drunk (very it was his 21st birthday) so probably doesnt remember so dont really think i should bring it up, but he is one of my best friends ands and thats very important to me. Any advice?

One of the British national daily newspapers is asking readers "what it means to be British?"

Some of the emails are hilarious but this is one from a chap in Switzerland....

Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer,

then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way,

to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV.

.. And the most British thing of all?... Suspicion of anything foreign!

Why do some people only have intimate relationships with people they don't have sex with? Is this normal?

These 2 guys I work with ask me to tie their apron. Everyone else at work seems to be able to function and tie their own apron except for these two. They ask me to tie it and it goes around their waist and butt. They say they can't tie it in the back by themselves but I think it can't be that difficult. But I don't want to be rude so I do it anyways, am I being played?

Last year my partner of 7 years finished with me because he couldn't take the responsibility of being a father. My daughter was devastated when he moved out. He quickly met someone else and she has just given birth to his twin girls. He has moved away and sees our daughter in the holidays. I am eaten up with jealousy and feel bitter and twisted. I just can't get over this and now he is planning to marry her next year. She is actually a very sweet person and is kind to my daughter. How can I move on and let my past go. Any advice would be appreciated.

My son's father and i broke up a year before he was born, but we never left eachother completely, i get the feeling that he's after other females and only into me for physical reasons. i'm finally ready to let this go. how can i jump back on the band wagon and where can i find a decent man between the ages of 24 and 28. i've technically been single for 4 years with an annoying attachment (son's Father). If he cannot accept all of me he does not deserve part of me. Help i need a friend!

I was watching TV and thinking about reality of life and I really do think that most men prefer an ugly women with a nice body over a very very attractive women with 50 extra pounds on her. I have seen plenty of men with some women that are just.....wow...thats all I can say, I mean you could scare someone with those faces but rarely with an overweight girl......your opinion?

A man that I am casually dating (his terms) likes me and at times calls
me his girl. However, when I suggest to him on the issue of us being in a committed relationship he says "give it time." It has been six months.
He has been divorced and now only wants casual dating. He wants to gain sole custody of his son which he says is his first priority. He claims he is not seeing anyone else and is always available anytime that I call him when were not at work. However, I am getting tired of just being his friend and wonder should I wait until he's ready to commit or move on?

But the weekends he has his kids I go back to my apartment and we have no contact until Sunday night when he drops them off. I told him I would like to meet his kids. He has been devoice for 3 years and says his kids are not ready for him to date. I have broke things off with him in hopes that he would change his mind. Do you think he has any plans of introducing me to his family?

It seems many people seem to think that lovers and friends are of opposite quality and it is easier to get intimacy/support from someone of the opposite sex who is just a "friend" than a lover. Is that immature? I find it disturbing.
