My son's father and i broke up a year before he was born, but we never left eachother completely, i get the feeling that he's after other females and only into me for physical reasons. i'm finally ready to let this go. how can i jump back on the band wagon and where can i find a decent man between the ages of 24 and 28. i've technically been single for 4 years with an annoying attachment (son's Father). If he cannot accept all of me he does not deserve part of me. Help i need a friend!

Well, I can be a friend, but no more than that. At the very least, though, I am good with advice on romance and a variety of other topics.
As for jumping back into the game, that really depends on your personality. Aggressive people will be more likely to go to bars and other social scenes to begin the search again, passive types are likely to let it happen when it does. Of course, there are all the types in between, so...which are you?

Go hang out near a military (Air Force) base. A lot of young guys with a decent job and somewhat of a moral calling.

try not to sound like you just want another paycheck. not every one is going to want to take care of some one elses child, financially or other wise. it hard enough to take care of your self let alone a child that isn't yours with a dad that's still in the childs life...maybe you should try a slightly older guy.

in your dreams. ah, but seriously, don't go out to bars and places like that looking for guys like that. you're not going to find them. the best thing you can do is meet up with some friends and head out to upscale clubs, ask them to introduce you around or something like that.
