i told him mine the other night, and he would'nt tell me his. He said he don't think we are at that stage in our relationship to do share such thoughts ! i told him i would like us to watch porn togeather. Basically he said no! i know he loves me, but could he be slightly prude or scared. hes 29! we live togeather, what is the harm. I have a higher sex drive than him, what can i do?

My financee gets 3 R&R a year. He is working out of the country. We are suppose to get married in April. For over 2 years I tried to be understanding and stood by. He informed me he is taking this R&R and touring Europe, then going home for a week in England. I will again spend Christmas without him. He told me if he got bored in Germany, he might pop over. I feel I am not here for entertainment for his boredom. I sent him a very nice email telling him, we need to take this time to rethink our relations and our wants and needs. I am a single Mom, he claims to want more children, loves me and wants to settle down, but his actions don't show it. 8 months ago, he took off on R&R to India and Austrailia. I feel neglected and stupid for taking this relationship so serious, when he doesn't.

Ok. Do you think that people only seperate and then get back together after a while in movies. Or does that happen alot in real life? Because in movies/tv two people fall in love and then something happens, then they are apart for X amount of time, then in the end they magically get back together.

examples: the notebook, ross and rachel on friends, serendipity... etc.

i just want to hear other peoples opinions.

I have a question.

Since I was young, I have always heared the saying ' he wants to have his cake and eat it'. What in the hell does this mean. Why wouldn't someone want to eat their cake?

In my opinion, that saying is dumb. What else can you do with your cake but eat it. Of course I want to have my cake and eat it.
I dont want to just stare at my cake.
Its like saying 'He wants to have his car, and drive it aswell, how arrogant'.

Could someone please elaborate on this phrase?

this man is so caring, always telling me he loves me so much and he will not hurt me because he has be waiting for someone who will love him and cherish him because he has gone through hell

I'm an English man living in France. I have a girlfriend who I have asked to marry me 3 times in the past. Each time she's said "No" because she's not sure if she loves me that much. last month I won a share in the Euromillions lottery.
