I know of a couple who met in a night cycling event and they subsequently started cycling away from the main group of cyclists. They ended up chatting on a hill top at night while gazing at the stars. The guy suddenly popped the question because the atmosphere was too romantic. The couple got married 3 months later. And they are still happily married after 4 years.

Why not? The love of my life started as an mutually beneficial arrangement but in three short months we both had fallen in love with the other...we lasted 5 years until I blew it we should still be together now and have been married for over 20 years... I am still thoroughly and completely in love with her and if she needed me to die in order for her to live I would without hesitation!

Yes, you can fall in love in a day! I was in love with my husband in 2 days, and married for 4 years now. But love has its ups and downs. You might be in love in one year, and out of it the next. A relationship takes time, effort and commitment - not just love.

there are frequently love at first sight, so it's long enough to fall in love after knowing a year, though i would think 6 mths to 1 year would have sufficient time to understand more abt your feelings for that person, if u have spend enough quality time with that special someone.

yes to a certain degree.

before you commit further to the relationship, it is better you know more about her or him.

because it hurts a lot if there is love triangle.

i knew carol for about 1 year or so and i literally fell in love with her. but she didn't reciprocate my love for her as she love another guy.

just move on if have to as there are other girls or guys out there waiting for commitment.

else, ask her or him if he or she can be your gf or bf when the time is ready.

be mentally prepared for rejection and treat her or him as a normal friend again if can. but you will have to avoid meeting her or him if rejected as you have to move on with a better girl or guy.

of course you can.
i have been with my man for only 10 months and we know we love each other, and plan to marry one day.
if you know what you want in a partner, then there is no reason why you should hold off the feeling of love, if you feel like you have found "the one"

A year is more than enough time to love someone. I personally belive you can be attracted to someone at first sight. But hey everyone's different.

My parents got married only after knowing each other for a year.

But my mom says she would of waited longer than a year though...

In the end, it all depends on the two of you.

YEs, I'm married to him for 13 years happily. I trully believe it depends on the couple. Some are meant to be and some are not.
