Ok. Do you think that people only seperate and then get back together after a while in movies. Or does that happen alot in real life? Because in movies/tv two people fall in love and then something happens, then they are apart for X amount of time, then in the end they magically get back together.
examples: the notebook, ross and rachel on friends, serendipity... etc.
i just want to hear other peoples opinions.

What you have just described is the plot line of every chick flick or dating movie made in hollywood.
My sister broke up with her boyfriend than got back together. They have been together for over a year now.

Of course, it depends on the situation, but I think it happens when there is real love which is making people go back. So you should be asking is real love only in movies

Yes its possible to get together after a break up. It depends on whether or not the people who broke up are willing to discuss why the broke up in the first place then work on fixing that problem

I know of a number of couples that divorce and then have remarried some okay 2 that actually divorced 2 times and remarried for a third time

yeah I believe that it happens only in movies....everything is possible in movies, it's a lot harder in real life :-/
