Singles & Dating - 20 November 2006

I've been dating my boyfriend for 3.5 months. Our relationship has been AMAZING. He loves me, I love him, etc. However, yesterday, he told me that he's been thinking about his ex recently (as in the last week). He says he knows for sure that he loves me, and he also knows that he's really happy with me. However, he doesn't want to be unfair to me and pretend like he's not having feelings for his ex. All this came up when she told him that she started dating again. Now she's interested in some guy. He told me it never really occurred to him that she would move on, too. Now, he's worried about losing her as a friend forever. I think he's jealous that she might get as close or even closer with someone else than she was with him (they dated for 3 years). When she's not interested in someone else, then he's not interested in her. But, now, jealousy has set in. I'm not sure what to do. Part of me feels like this is just natural. But, am I a fool for thinking he still wants me?

I'm pretty much retarded when it comes to things like these...So please help me?
At the begging of the school year (end of August), this boy used to look at me. So, when I found out I stared back. When he found out I was looking back, he stoped. And then I stoped.
Now I see him looking at me again. Just FYI, I've never met this kid before.

What exactly does this mean? Why won't he talk to me?

I know one of you is going to say 'go talk to him', but I'm afraid that the convo would be very awkward cosidering this staring-game has been going on for months.

on sat i went to see my boyfriend. I told him i had 10 mins b4 i hada be home. Then 6 mins later he begs me to get toco bell he thtows a huge ***** fit cuz i wont get it. THne jus leaves no i love u no kiss nada. he never called the next day.. so he called today n tole me he needs to talk to me in person. then called bac n said i love u.. so finally at 6 i went to go see himin burger king cuz he works near there. winds up he tells me he needs time apart becuase he doesnt wanan cry anymore and like he doesnt want him to have a broken heart later so he wasnts us apart fer like a month.. what? i dont understand? n i was ok just tell me exactly and hes like i love u i want u for everthing in my life but he needs time? n i got tearny eyesd n so did he.. n everytime i jus tried to leave n stuff he wud liek grab me n bring me bac to him so wen i fianlyl said bye n took him arms off me he was like sad and mopped away. n he knows im mad like why wud he do this n stuff?

Well.. I have this REALLY good friend. I used to like him a lot more than just friends. He's been moving around a lot lately. Back and forth because his parents don't really have it together.. But anyway, he told my friend that he really likes me and well, it got to me. He's also moving back to my town in a few days. I'm not really sure what to do.. because if I say no to him i'm missing a great guy.. Yet, I really started liking being single.

I'm not really sure what to do at this point. What would you do? I think I just need some guidence. Theres no way I am going to lead him on. I just wanna get that feeling again that I used to have for him

Oh also, he tells me secrets and stuff. Like, I don't know. I feel that he really trusts me. (when I say he moves back and forth a lot. When he moves it's like 20 mins away.) He calls me like every day or every other day.

I've been single for about a few years, have been in no relationships, basically becoming celibate. Im not actively looking because I dont have much of a vehicle and I have a sense that women wont care much for a man without a car. Im not shallow, but I feel I am attractive(or at least easy on the eyes...). I have good conversational skills, even though Im more of a listener. And I have a job that pays fairly well. So please tell me, in what way should I have hope if I see no one for my future?

P.S: Im a heterosexual, 20 year old male. (Just so there's no confusion about my person) also.....NO religious answers please. Im already a God loving Man.

Well this boy really interest me and he is the only boy that i will probably like in my school.
When my friend asked him if he wanted to go with me he said
" she is pretty and all, but we are better off friends because i dont want to go with anyone in the school because once i go with a girl her friends are always in our buissness and i dont like that. "

OK get this i liked this girl for a while and my best friend started likein her to and then he went and asked her out behind my back and didnt even bother to mention to me that they were dating. after that i just hurt like a kick in the head so that night i told her how i felt and now shes confused and dosent know who to choose and its been about a month now and whenever i ask her about it she just cries and gets mad. also my best friend is just becoming a dick head hes always lieing and rubbing it in that he goes out with her and not to mention its his first girlfriend and hes 16 so yeah hes cool. Ok I don't get it. I was going out with this guy who was seriously pursuing me. Things were wonderful. Then for about 3 weeks (while our cellphones were off due to the bill being high) we did not speak on the phone but I made sure that I e-mailed him and I even sent a snailmail letter to him (really cute and girlie). I got nothing from him but one e-mail that was very rushed. Once the phones were back on he was a different person, non communicative and distant. When I asked him what was up he said nothing and everything that he said were things that woudl have made me upset or caused us to breakup but I did not budge. Then he would not return my calls. He went from not letting me get off teh phone to not even answering.

I think I need an answer from another guy because the answers I am getting from my friends (girls) are just confusing me more. And he won't tell me why he started acting all funky....I broke up with him because his attutude changed without warning.

We have been casually dating for about a month and have only just recently made it official. I have met his mother twice briefly but it will be the first time I meet his four siblings: three sisters and one brother. They call the night "Family Fun Night" and they play various games, which apparently get very intense. Because I am a year and a half younger than my 18 year old boyfriend, who also happens to be the baby of the family, I'm very nervous to meet his sisters and his family and I feel that I should bring something to offer although his mother insists that it is unnecessary. Well, the thing is that there is a girl in my college. I see her on some classes. She is really pretty and stuff. I like her and I think she knows I do like her. In the past couple of weeks when I talked to her she seemed a bit cold to me and like she didn't want to talk to me.

A bit later I found out she has a boyfriend, by simply seeing her walking with him holding hands and stuff.

So, I started to just try and avoid looking at her and stuff. Show her that Im not THAT interested/desperate in her. So, now on the lessons she seem to look at me from time to time, and its sooo openly that it seems to me she wants me to see her looking.

I don't understand it. She has a boyfriend but she seems to give me that sort of looks and stuff, which could mean she likes me.
I can't really talk to her much cause she surrounded by her friends most of the time on the lessons and out of lessons.

I don't know if that means she likes me and what do you think I should do.
