I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years now, and I keep on thinking about leaving him because I want what I see in the movies. But I don't wanna leave him at the same time...I don't know what to do. He's always been there for me, never did anything to hurt me, I just don't know what to do.

He's also my first serious boyfriend, I mean I have had my fun with guys before, but never serious. I just don't know if it's just "love" or "in love". Like you know , a love for a friend I guess? Like I said I don't know what to do.

I also always have the thought in the back of my mind, that I could get someone cuter or whatever.

If I was in your shoes, I'd be proud to have a boyfriend who never hurt me, and was always there for me. Relationships on the movies are not realistic, they are made the way they are to make us feel excited so we get a thrill from watching it, so relationships are portrayed in a way that isn't real. They are movies for a reason - entertainment and not real life.

dont go buy the stupid movies. go buy ur heart, and by who he is. because the movies are made up to seem perefect, but thier not thats why they made it up because its highly unlikely it would actally happen. if hes been with u for 3 years then u should stay together. it takes a lot of time for a guy to be that comitted so stick with it. plus, u will prbly just end up hurting urself if u break up.

Sorry, but real love has no fairy-tale ending. What is real love is the other person being there for you, holding you when you cry, laughing when you laugh...sharing your life with you. If you keep waiting for romance that you see in movies, you'll never be satisfied.

Life, unlike the movies, is not scripted. You're going to be disappointed in life if you searching for what you see in the movies.
