it really depends on the girl.some would never go for it and others wouldnt care at all. but the one u get is definitly a keeper-she'l have her heart in the right place...
EVERYONE has a problem or something they feel insecure abt, just we are able to hide it a little better so don't have to deal with the negativity publicly. you'v got a lot of courage to be able to joke about it and not let this get you down.
Just keep being confident about the things you do have because strength of character is a major turn on for any girl!

This is a tough one because I personally am very vain. But I think if you're attractive and in good shape with a good personality that probably wouldn't be a huge deal. I do think however that your making jokes about your disability might make you appear insecure about it, which I'm sure in some way that you are. And that's totally understandable. But I think a man with confidence is very sexy....so quit the jokes, and if you need to offer up an explanation, then do so when it's appropriate.
I also think that a minor disability like you have will become less important to the opposite sex as you get older. We all become more in tough with our own flawed as we age.

i would not find it a problem if your someone i like and care about i think i would get sick of the look at my disability jokes or if you used your disability for attention or a feel sorry for me thing.. in fact if i liked you i would make fun of you ..allot of girls would not date you out of fear what others may say and their own self centered ideas ..after all we all have a disability..so if its just girls like that approval you want well... obvious that's easy... if your looking for your partner, best friend ,soul mate, wife ...the person who will bring you most joy..children perhaps...someone who is always there for you ..life long. you will find ..she will find you ..don't waste PRECIOUS TIME on looking at your physical flaws and obsessing on missing ,twisted , not working body parts..even so called perfect people are totally deformed..i know what is like to be different and its not so bad or even noticed when i choose to not have it have all control.. my disability that is .. it does not rule me and my definition of me... you answered your own question and it is honest and truthful.. it is the person you are ..eg..personility and the kind of man you want to be.. the way you treat women..your friends.that will be in your life a part of it .. it is your choice and who you are.

If you think of yourself as disabled, then women will think it too. You shouldn't be making fun of yourself,.... you are being cruel to you and that is not good for your own sense of well-being.
It is important to be able to talk freely with people and hold up your end of the conversation.. but if you are ridiculing yourself, how would anyone else ever take you seriously.. and I mean girls....
If you are attractive in your mind and soul, other people will find you attractive.. stop with the bashing and turn on the charm....

Well your humor could be taken too far and might embarrass a potential partner. Plastic splints wouldn't put me off if I liked the rest of you. I think most girls are like that--we are not as superficial as men can be in that regard.

Try having a friendship with this girl first so she can see what kind of a person you are. If she likes how you are she will not care. Also, treat her like a princess always and make her the happiest girl on earth and you will see.

things like that shouldnt affect someone liking u. if they dont like u as u r then they arent worth it. when the right girl comes along, she wont care. if it was me & i fell for someone with a disabilty it would def not keep me from liking them. if ur a good guy, then u do have a chance. not everyone goes for the perfect looking guy, thats so shallow & doesnt matter when it comes down to it.
