I've been single for about a few years, have been in no relationships, basically becoming celibate. Im not actively looking because I dont have much of a vehicle and I have a sense that women wont care much for a man without a car. Im not shallow, but I feel I am attractive(or at least easy on the eyes...). I have good conversational skills, even though Im more of a listener. And I have a job that pays fairly well. So please tell me, in what way should I have hope if I see no one for my future?

P.S: Im a heterosexual, 20 year old male. (Just so there's no confusion about my person) also.....NO religious answers please. Im already a God loving Man.

You are too young to sound so world weary. Come on, kid, go hang out at a bar or coffee joint or something, get to know people your age.

Dont worry bro, Ive been there. It can seem hopeless but thats only cause the longer you go without trying, the more you analyze everything and the worse it becomes. Im guessing you might get nervous around women. You have make an affirmation that every time you go out anywhere, your going to chat up two people. I dont mean chat up two beautiful girls, just chat up anyone. Practice initializing conversation and you will become comfortable in any social situation eventually. Soon you will be able to approach anyone. You also need to exude confidence so keep your self busy with life and get involved with cool activities, then youll always have something to talk about. I would suggest going to amazon.com and buying the book "How to Become and Alpha Male". I know it sounds corny but it really has some great advice for this topic and it worked for me.

You need to find a way of getting together with people of the same age.
Could you get a job working some where that young people meet.
Or join some sort of club that does an activity you are interested in?
You need freinds that socialise.
You will have to build your social circle gradually. Think of it as a year long program and actively seek to make freinds.
Then maybe finding your other half could happen naturally.
So there is no time like the present. xx

The right women will come along soon. She will see you for the wonderful man you are. You are only 20, get out and enjoy your life. Sometimes if you stop looking for love, it will find you. Good Luck (not that you'll need it).

Well, since you're God, you should be able to tell us... LOL

Seriously, everything you describe about yourself seems to indicate that you DO have hope, but that you're just succumbing to despair for awhile...
One thing to remember that helps me to bear my current loneliness is the belief that God is using the pain to build my character and make it stronger... Knowing He has a purpose for it makes it much easier to bear...
God is in control and He'll gift you with her at the right time... In the meantime, persevere and carry on with loving everyone...

I am sorry to be so brutally honest but from the tone of your question it sounds like you think very highly of yourself and may be overlooking people because you think you are such a great catch.

Most women that are girlfriend material don't care about material things like a car. When I met my husband in college he had a beat up old sentra. But I looked at him, not what he owned.

Now, if you tend to be attracted to people that like material things then your goal should be to stride to attain the worldly goods that will help you attract those types of girls.

But you can't have it both ways! You can't like girls that like nice things and then expect to get one if you don't deliver.
