Singles & Dating - 16 November 2006

This guy that I've known for several years, he's a family friend, recently told me that he's been harboring a crush on me. He's good looking and a very sweet guy, but he is currently married. I never really gave him a second thought becuase of this. Well he has had a really tough time. He and his wife had seperated, but then she got cancer, and he moved back home to take care of her. She is dying from it, and has been sick for the last year and half. He says that he and his wife are basically friends, and he just takes care of her. They are no longer "romantic" due to her illness. He's ready to move on emotionally, but has to do the honorable thing and take care of her through what life she has left. He says he wants some happiness in his life and wants to try and find that with me. At first I told him that I wouldn't see him because he's married, but the more I think about it, the more I would like to see where this might go. Would you date him?

what is it with guys pulling up next to a girl and trying to keep speed with her....you can't just stop and talk in the middle of the highway???wtf...why do guys do this .....don't they know that it is very annoying to the girl at times????some times i will admit that it is flattering though.....

To all readers.... I've been seeing a guy that I have grown to love for a year. Well, he moved back to his hometown about 5 months ago to finish school. He and I use to see each other all the time, and talk on the phone when he left. He's been acting funny lately, been going out to the clubs a lot and just having a good time. But..treating me differently. Well, I called to leave him a voice mail, and I forgot to mention something so I went to delete it, and it said enter your password. I knew his password b/c it's the same as his phone #. He had 2 messages on there from a girl that was calling him baby. Come to find out it's a friend of a friend that moved up there not to long ago. And she's tall, blonde, blue eyes with a perfect body. I kinda don't want to tell him I know, but then again I do want him to know. I dunno what 2 do. Even though he's never told me he's loved me, he promised he would tell me if he was seeing someone else. Any advice about this? And the model?

This what i meant by my previous question. For sure I would leave right away but the question here is, should I inform her husband so he is careful with such a bad wife and person or would I be doing something bad by destroying a marriage specially that she happen to have a child from this husband. Many would call it revenge but I call it doing a good deed to her poor husband.

My girl and i are some miles apart.
I love her because that is something i am sure of,she also tells me the same.
Its not that i dont trust her but i just dont think its enough.Should i relax or test to see if she really does love me?

there is this girl, we feel awkward around each other, every time i talk to her she freaking blushes every time, and english becomes her second language. so since we both feel so awkward around each other, we just aviod each other, but the damn universe seems to be against us cause we seem to meet every week, mainly cuase we both have the same friends, but when i do meet we talk and have a good time, but the stupid awkwardness is still there its freaking ridicilous. its like we both know that our hearts are on the line and we are scared or something. i am confused, what is her problem? for that matter what is wrong with me? why do i keep thinking about her?

Why, when I ask a question like that, do most of you take one look at me and immidiatly assume I'm asking because I can't get a girl or I'm the moron or the overly-obsessive and arrogant guy? I have been with my g/f (fiancee) for over two years. I have been raised to walk on the side closest to the road and open car doors and pull out chairs and everything (My grandma would kill me if she thought I was doing other-wise). I love my boo with all I have. We both joined the Marine Core together and I cherish every second I have with her. I love to take her when there is no music playing and just dance. I humm or sing to her if I have to to get her to dance with me. Sometimes I'll just hug her and plant a bunch of kisses rapid-fire all over face like my mom used to do to me when I was a baby. Don't assume someone is asking a question directed at them unless it states so, like the one I asked if I was hot lol. Because yes, it was my fiancee and her best freind that wanted to take the poll.

i lost touch of myself. i guess that's what love does to people. I recently stopped seein someone i had fallen in love with. I still love him..ive known him for almost a year and eveywhere where i go, i am constantly reminded of him. He says he doesnt have that much feelings towards me as much as i do and that's why we stopped dating. Im still his friend and we still see each other around and talk but were " just friends". I hate it with all my heart. I want him back and its come to the point that i find myself not trusting guys anymore. i tried dating other guys, but i find myself imagining its him. what do i do? i want him back with all my heart, i need him. But it takes two doesnt it? what do i do?

For the past two years,i've been best friends with this girl.we always hang out and basicly do everything together. It was like we were never apart, and it wasn't me choice she would always want me to come over and hang out with her.So since i first became friends with her i have liked her and we got to know each other pretty well. So my best friend, guy side,lives right beside her. they would always sit up and talk and she would always tell me she didn't like him.But the other day i got enough courage to ask her out and she said she always though of me as a best friend.The day right after that,my two best friends start dateing and all my friends(and my best friend shes going out with)knew i liked her too.But now it just seems awkward to be around them.I wouldent care, but it's just my two best friends are together.So i took a week break from going out there,and She got pissed.So i went out there today and while they were cuddled she kept glancing at me.I still like her and this sucks.
