ive crushed on this VERY good guy friend of mine for a pretty long time but he doesnt know. we're extremly comfortable around each other. somehow, someone mustve found out and spreading rumors. now, he wont look at me or talk to me like he usually does everyday. what happened??...

Rumors... I've went to a High School (2004) that was nicknamed Rumorview. Rumors can destroy peoples lives so I've seen in this world, don't let those rumors destroy your chances with the guy you want to be with as it looks like. Maybe he does know you have a thing for him but he might be to afraid to ask you or he might not want to risk your friendship. But be stern about talking to him, go up and say I want to talk to you [or something of those lines] and talk to him about your relationship that you want to be in with him. If you two get along great already 9 times out of 10 you'd be even more great together. The biggest way to put Rumors to a staggering halt, is to talk to him about your feelings toward him and what you want. Be open about what he says towards you and if he wants the same perhaps. Don't let some people ruin a chance that you worked so hard to build up to just fade away, because of something silly. Be Yourself, Be YOUnique.

Rumors, will always cause problems,you need to be honest with him,and tell him, how you feel about him. because you are so close, I think he will understand, he is just hurt that others found out, before him. just talk to him, you might be surprise, he feels the same way. Rumors are not worth giving up on someone you care so much about.

I think it may go either way. If he does like you, then he probably is waiting for you to tell him yourself. As a guy, I would prefer a woman to be direct with me, instead of beating around the bush, so to speak. However, it is possible that he is avoiding you because he doesn't really feel that way for you and doesn't want to hurt your feelings. My advice to you is, since it is already out in the open, just talk to him directly about it. Sometimes, we have to take risks. And when we take risks, we may sometimes receive great rewards.

I feel that he is a bit upset with the rumors. If u like him then propose him and let the time decide further course of action. I feel that u will get him .

If he has found out that you like him, than the lack of eye contact and change in behavior towards you could mean that he doesn't want to encourage you and isn't comfortable with you any more.
