oooooooh I was in the same situation..and he moved to another location! He is only 3 years older than me and a total flirt as well. We had fun picking on eachother...and now when he comes in to visit..I give a big ole smile to him, and he smiles back...I just wish it could go further..but that would most likely be against company policy! hehe
Maybe you can change jobs or transfer somewhere since dating would not be an option since he is in a superior position than you and then date away if you really like eachother!! Good luck! :)
UNLESS you are like 16 and he is 20.....that's a bit different!

Let's say...it's not a good idea. You probably wouldn't be fired, but you and or he is setting yourselves up for a sexual harassment suit. Sexual harassment is unwarranted advances, and though the "advances" may be warranted at first...if someone gets mad or hurt emotionally...it's not worth the "sexual harassment" card that is just sitting out there ready to be played. If you both live happily ever after, chances are the company you work for either won't let you work under (no pun intended) your love interest or family member. It's called nepotism.

I'd say go for it; but then It depends on where you work and how important a promotion is to you, as circumstances can change if things don't work out.
He's a total flirt, hummm. Good Luck!

It depends on the company.
But you probably won't get fired - if it's a really big company, and you two really hit it off and get married, down the line one of you will probably have to take a transfer.
But, at many other companies, especially smaller businesses, it's considered perfectly OK to date a co-worker.

find out what your company policy is. at mind, it's ok IF you go to your next superior and let them know, and then one of you will get a transfer. it's just if you try to sneak around that you get in trouble.
3/4ths of the managers in my company met their spouse at work =P

It all depends on the situation. if the situation needs that kind of action then go ahead. bcos even if he is a manager still he is a man first.

no, if you value your job it's not a great idea.
however, if you don't mind losing your job and think he's worth the risk...then maybe. personally, i wouldn't.

well if it's your manager, then I don't see why he would fire you for hitting on him...
but I dunno, coworking relationships can get pretty sticky sometimes... I'd avoid it if I were you
