I have been lied to, cheated on, misled, and pumped full of so much exaggerated garbage from guys that supposedly cared tremendously for me, only to find out that they were also "caring tremendously" for another girl at the same time, or that there were no actions to be found to support those wonderfully sweet words that they fed me. Some of these guys have even gone so far as to tell me they love me. So, how do I keep all that in mind and keep myself from falling for the same lies again in the future, without being unjustly suspicious of guys that maybe really are good, decent, honest people? I'm always trying to be intelligent about things, but I'm afriad it's getting to the point of being overly suspicious of new guys in my life. This is a question I have given a great deal of thought lately, and I haven't come up with a satisfactory answer. I don't want to jeopardize future happiness but I also don't want to allow so called "men" to think they can get away with this behavior.

how the relationship was making you feel and he said he understands what you are saying. then after he says he understands what you are saying he falls asleep. how would that make you feel. ive been having some problems with my bf and i wanted to talk to him about it. the next thing i know the conversation was over with because he fell asleep. i felt like it must wasnt to important to him about the way i felt. what would you do and think?

My ex cheated with me going out with his colleague. however he is seein a new gal who is not that same colleague. he was my first bf and sexual partner. i don't want to get back with him but i dunno why i have to keep a tab on all his where abouts. when i see him with his gal. i get so jealous. i am not seein anyone new coz no one seems to interest me. i don't understant why i am so obsessed with my ex. why does his happiness affect me in a negative manner. why can't i just live and let live.

I seem to be questioning my friendship with my close female friend.The reasons being is that when I told her how I felt she said no because she didn't want to risk losing the friendship.Other reasons included:

1)Her view of a relationship is what we already do(apart from physical), so I asked would it be that wrong to add the physical aspect to it.She said NO, but that it wouldn't feel right-what does this mean?
2)She said we wouldn't work out as a couple but said she does not know why--has got a feeling,would not even give it a try.
3)Said I'm attractive,but its just ME as a whole that she does not see herself being with.What's this mean?
4)Said she don’t deserve my feelings,someone else does
5)Said I was too easy/available-meaning?

I really don't talk a lot and am pretty shy. If I talk to a pretty girl I'll mess up because I will try so hard not to screw up that I will act up tight and not fun. And it probably makes me seem wierd to them. I heard girls like a man to be confident but don't know the truth to that. What do girls want in a man? This guy I liked turned out to be an ***, I told him to leave me alone.

There is this really beautiful girl that rides with me on the bus. She is always saying Hi and asking me how I'm doing. The thing is she says it to a few other guys too (the hi stuff but not trying to sparka convo.) And when ever she tries sparking a conversation, due to my shyness, was only able to answer one sentence answers. Now she doesn't ask to many question, but she is till constant with the hi's and smiles. Does she like me and now doesn't or was she being nice? Are there any other possible explainations?

I have been with a guy for about 1 year now in a long distance relationship. We see each other for about 2 days every 2 months. He says this isn't enough but I feel we should be able to work at it until the situation changes in about 7 months & I can move closer to him.

I have never met any one as special before and don't want to lose him.

I am in US and my GF is in India, she worked there. She just moved on from my life because of my big stupidity. Please search below subject for real issue regarding breakup in Yahoo Answers: “How do I get my GF back .. serious issue.?"

However, I realized and decided to stay away from her. My job always kept me out of home and My GF, our love was mostly from distance.

I am going to meet her last time, though she is saying me not to come but I want to go because I hurt her so much probably this will give her some healing.

I don't know what I should say her on meeting. I might start crying to see her. I planned to stay there a week, see her daily and come back. I'm afraid if my little long visit would infuriate her. What’s your view?

isn't that better than not doing it at all. We were hanging out one time and i walked her back home and i walked away and she said "your not gonna hug me now". on our first real date after that i asked if i could kiss her at the end, isn't that better than not doing it at all.

i have to write a short story for english and I based it on my cousins friend who died in a drinking and diving accident at nyu
its about a girl in her first year at nyu. shes an ra and works in banana republic. she has a wonderful bf who makes her promise not to drink and tells her he has a surprise for her. so she goes to the party and her bff gets drunk and forces her to get in the car. she refuses thinking of her bf zach and dosent go. later her bfff crashes into a car and kills someone and it turns out that the car she crashed into was her bf's zach who was coming down from upstate to give her surprise for their 4 year anniversey. the whole story is in a flashback starting from her at the cemetry. and i know the story is sad buti had to write it. And in the end when the flashback ends her bff asks for forgivness and she has a hard time but ends up forgiving cause she knew that zach is watching her from heaven and would have want her to do the right thing. how does it sound .

ok well my friends and i thought it would be funny for one of us to act like his secret admirer so they chose me to do it. so i wrote notes and everything like that to him. i even called him. it was funny for a while but then i started to feel guilty because i have a boyfriend and i was doing this while i was going out with my boyfriend. it feels like i am cheating on him! It's been 2 months since i left him.. during this time i got over him, not very easily i may add.. i've been going out with another guy but dumped him yesterday.. i dont know the feeling keeps on coming, i still love my ex.Memories are overtaking me. He hasn't called, i don't think he wants to be friends.. i might have hurt him by telling him i thought i didnt have any feelings for him anymore. Anyway he's been signing in alot on msn these days, he's tried talkin to me last time but i didnt answer, simply cause i didnt know what to say. All that he's showed me since i broke up was that he didn't care (he extremely believes in the "if u chase her, she'll run away" thing) and just came back to take his sweater (was this to see me or just get over me?)

Now i want him back, and i accept him, even though he's not perfect.. no1 is..

Right now there's this humungus red brick wall between us to i can't just call him and hope for him to take me back after 2 months.. what do u suggest
