Me, I like it when a guy has firm lips. A little gentle lip nibbling is nice too. You can try sucking and nibbling on her lower lip.
When frenching, let your tongue slide gently into her mouth, not down her throat. Play with her tongue, sort of like dancing.
and play with her hair, stroke her face, its not just purely kissing, its the whole experience.
