I can deeply empathize with you. I have been in a long distance relationship for a year also. A very long distance relationship, to feel a little better, the love of my life is now residing back home in Cyprus. A little island under Turkey in the meditteranean. I miss him a bunch. We have not seen each other since last March. I am here in the states. We communicate almost daily. My only suggestion is what I am doing. Keep the communication, it is very important. It is evident that your love is stong. You have to have faith. Keep faith and don't ever give up as long as you two have equal love for each other. This could be a test in your relationship with each other and will probably make your bond stronger. Just BELEIVE!!!!!!!!! It's my motto. As the saying goes "Behind every dark cloud there is a silver lining." Much luck, never give up!!!!!!!!!

Love shouldn't have to hurt, as it should make you feel wonderful, providing that both people feel the same about each other. The fact that you're in a long distance relationship adds difficulty, however. If it were me, I wouldn't move unless I was completely sure about the relationship. It sounds like he's questioning things, so I would give that serious consideration before packing up and moving.

The problem with moving closer to him is that you are now out of your element and away from a comfort zone. You will be more stressed in daily life then you would have been. Additionally, if the relationship doesn't work out, then you are stuck in a very uncomfortable situation.
I am not advising against ever moving closer to someone you love, but if he doesn't think it can work out, there may be other factors he is considering which may not be solved by you moving.
I suggesst you talk to him and make sure you know everything that is bothering him.

If he is special, and thinks you are too, then stick with it for 7 months. The months will fly by. If he thinks the same about you then he will understand - especially if, in 7 months, you will have more time for each other. I am married, and count my lucky stars every day since I met my wife! Stick with it - special people are hard to find. Good luck!

if both of us has 'mature' love, you would never feel hurt. Since the 'quality' that matters, not the quantity. And everything would never be the same once you've got married. So... don't be so sentimentil. I could tell you this since I've been dating with my boyfriend for more than 10 years and we got married right now. I have ever felt the way you feel....and I felt so silly when I remember the old days we had passed. .......

this is why i cant do long distance realationships.
one or the other person finds it too difficult.
even if you talk loads on the phone or internet you dont actually have a chance to get to know him properly in any sort of way.
if he wont work at this or wait thenthere isnt much you can do. the more you push him the more he will move away.

In a lifetime 7 months is nothing. If he loves u like u love him he will work at it and wait as it will be worth it in the end. Time flies and u'll be together before he knows it. And u'll never know unless you try, its better to regret what u have done that what u haven't. Good luck!
