had a couple longterm relationships (5 or more years) without marriage, and you are wearly of him, what should you say to him? I am not the type of woman who would ever live with a man without marriage and not looking for on ongoing relationship that leads no where either. I am weary of any many who has such long relationships with someone without marriage. Should I avoid this person the minute I find this out or is there some way that I can talk to them and get across to them I will never be in that type of relationship? I find this situation with guys I meet through dating sites and just don't want to waste time on a guy who isn't the marrying type.

I have been with my bf for 10 years and i love him but i'm over the fact that we don't have any romance or communication. He makes me feel stupid for having feelings and practically criticises me for just about everything. He only thinks of himself and does'nt seem to give a s**t about me or his kids. He doesn't acknowledge my b'day or buy me anything wether it be b'day, xmas or our anniversary. Refuses to take relationship to next level. I'm not materialistic i mean he could buy me something for $10 as long as he actually put some thought or feeling into it. I'm at the point where i'm not happy anymore and feel like asking him to leave. After 10 years i think i deserve a bit of consideration and emotional support. He goes out whenever he wants and is on the net playin poker almost every night and i never get any of his attention.

What are your thoughts? Would like both sides opinions on this one.

My girlfriend does talk to me hardly at all during lunch, and when she goes somewhere she doesnt really want me to go w/ her, and my friend is going through some stuff and i am confused cause my mom says dumb my gf. Can anyone give me some advice?

I've been feeling a bit alienated lately...looking for someone who can pehaps relate to what I'm going through. Feeling a bit flat most of the time...unhappy with my lot in life. I'm told it's a midlife crisis...very common I believe, but perhaps no one's talking about it because I can't find anyone else who (even remotely) understands how I feel. The marriage is not good and I find myself feeling pretty worthless about everything I'm involved with. Spend most of my free time porn-surfing the web, trying to seek out some form of pleasure. Contemplated throwing the marriage (of 25 years) in; and use my 'frequent fliers' to head over to Bangkok for one of these middle-aged sex romps. Feeling like I'm not achieving in my career. My wife is a religious zealot, which adds to the mix. I've go a household full of teenagers (1 boy, 2 girls)...and have no life to speak of (at least not of my own). Long bouts of depression; and a desire to reclaim some of my lost youth. Is anyone out there??!

In my heart I know I want to have a big diamond (not less than 1,5 carrats) engagement ring.
I do not want to pretend to be modest (like most girls) and ecxept whatever I get ........ for the rest of my life....

me and my wonderful girfriend have been datin for 6 months coming up next week.... i need some help on a date or something extra specail i can do for her... i make her dinner and take her out all tha time so i need somethin different from that .... and for her gift i was gonna get her jelwery... but her mom jus told me that she really dosent like much jelwery.... so how could i go about that one too... she is really laid bac and will love w.e. i do for her but i really wanna blow her away this time cause she has been so good to me and really diserves it. thanks for all ur help

ok . . . my gf broke up with me back in march and said she wanted to date around and see whats out there and all that good stuff after a 2 year relationship. . she starts dating this kid i went to high school with 2 weeks later . . . i hate the kid so its obviously a bad situation for me . . . so i try to get her back for about 2 months and in the middle of june i went NC . . on our 2 year anniversery at the beginning of july she send me a text that says . . "today was two year" just to remind me of it i guess . . . and ever since that text she has been calling/texting/leaving voicemail/or emailing me once atleast ever 2-3 weeks . . . a few times in was 2-3 times in a week . . . i have not responded to her or anything . . . so its been 5 months and its still going on .. .she is still with this same guy so she obviously knows we cant be friends be cause of the situation.. . . . . .so why does she keep trying to contact me?. .

I am in high school...
Well, I really like this guy that is a couple years older than me but we are both freshmen. I think he is a little shy but I am apparently very shy. I can't get up enough nerve to talk to him..And I really Really want to!! HOw do I get over this annoying shyness??I get nervous everytime I see him and am around him. I haven't been able to talk to him b/c of shyness.

My ex and i are not together, he told me that he didnt know what he wanted.. there is this girl that is 10 years younger that he might like and he needed to figure it out... so i told him to call me when he did figure it out.. well he keeps calling and telling me that he misses me, but hes still hanging out with her.. the way he talks is that he wants to get back together, but he actually hasnt said that yet. I dont want to get my hopes up, its only been a week. people are telling me to ignore his calls and totally avoid him. but i dont want to cuse i love him. Its hard to hear that he is hanging out with her. I dont know if this is his way of trying to figure out who he wants to be with or if he is just stringing me along. what should i do.

It disgusts me to look at him. I love him to death.

He's funny, charming, sweet, manly, and kind to animals.

But he's physically repulsive. He's at least 56 pounds overweight, and when we're having sex his big rolls jiggle all over me and I want to vomit. His face is hideous and his feet are so big and hairy I want to scream.

Okay, first let me say I am an extremely shy girl. I never been on a date, I never had a boyfriend, I never even kissed a guy. Yes I have had crushes, but I have been too busy with my life to have any relationships.

However, I met this guy. this really sweet and kind guy that I can't seem to get over. Everytime he walks in the room I get really nervous. I try to the "flirty" things, like eye contact and I have talked to him a few times but I am just too nervous to hold my gaze or keep the convo going.

Another problem I have is, I honestly don't know how he feels about me. Yes he stopped be to talk before, he walked me out couple times, he sit next to be at times. But recently, I haven't seen him around and so I now feel a little distant. I want to go up to and talk to him again but I am too damn scared. More than anything, I really just want to go up to him and kiss him. Do you think he would be disgusted if I did that?

What can I do to grab his attention? And to get over my fear? Thank you!
