I am in high school...
Well, I really like this guy that is a couple years older than me but we are both freshmen. I think he is a little shy but I am apparently very shy. I can't get up enough nerve to talk to him..And I really Really want to!! HOw do I get over this annoying shyness??I get nervous everytime I see him and am around him. I haven't been able to talk to him b/c of shyness.
Can someone give me some advise of how to get rid of shyness?
please---I really want to talk to this guy!!!

I was like that too. it's hard, but you just have to take a chance.
shy people never get what they want. if you ever want to be able to get what you wish for, you've got to let loose.

Just remember that no matter what happens it won't be the end of the world....you can talk to a guy without putting yourself completely on the line....ask him if he knows someone...if he thinks that weird kid is really weird, etc.
If your shyness is having a VERY noticable effect on your life (and please note is is very normal to be nervous around people you like, especially at your age) then you might want to consider seeing a therapist to see if you have 'social anxiety'...it doesn' t mean you are 'crazy' or anything...just that you have a really high fear of social situations.

well, if u're shy enough not to talk to him, i hope u're not shy enought not to smile at him.....lol.......just be confident......froget about everything at the moment u see him.....if u're that desperate of approaching him, then there's no time for shyness, girl!! at least, look into his eyes n' smile n' follow by a friendly 'hi'....then, the guy will do the rest......good luck!!!

put yourself out there.
just decide your going to let yourself be goofy and fun like you know you are and put a little effort into it.
just start with hi and a smile, whats up or how are ya doing?
simple as that.

well you like me hihih when i saw a cute guy's i am sky too and blush ..... you just walk next to him start to ask a question like can you show me how to slove this problem's ..... if his show u or talk to you then u should introd yourself .. good luck
