A few weeks ago, the guy I've been interested in got my phone number from where I used to work. I thought I saw a few signs that he might be interested in me as well, so I told them it was ok to give the number to him. Time went by, he didn't call. I finally managed to get a message to him online. He replied, said he'd try to call over the weekend, and said I could email him back. I also sent him my cell # and email address. He still didn't call, and all I've done since is send him a couple more short messages, nothing serious, and he reads them but doesn't reply. He is a pretty busy man, but I think he could find a few minutes somewhere in the day. Is it possible I could be scaring him away? Should I back off and not try to contact him for a while? He's a great guy and I don't want to mess this up. I'm just looking for honest opinions here. I can't understand why he'd ask for my number if he didn't plan to ever call me. Any ideas?

I had a violent break up with my boyfriend. I love him but he disrespected me. He yells and humiliates me. He disowns me. I disobeyed my parents just to be him. He even asked me to marry him the soonest time possible. I did have false hopes in the relationship. Now, I realized that I want to redeem myself. I want to recover. I dont know what I will do.

Everyday, well, sometimes when i want to be with my boyfriend, he really wants to be with me too. but then when i am with him, it becomes awkward and i hate it. i feel like i want to back off and leave him. I came across my girlfriend's webpage, and a guy that i know is asking her to have dinner, and he wrote on his reply "i'll setup a dinner date". i can't say reading that made me feel all too great. I have never not allowed her to have dinner with other guy friends, but i feel like this one guy has an agenda. i'm sure she knows that i will be able to read his comment, but i wonder if she will at least let me know "hey, is it ok if i go and have dinner with so-n-so?" and i may be like "i have to be honest, i don't feel entirely comfortable with the idea, but i'm not going to tell you what you can or can't do..." am i wrong for feeling like she should at least tell me? i know i can't restrict her from doing what she wants, but i guess it's just that feeling that you're not enough, ya know.

on the flip side, if your boyfriend was going to have dinner with a girl-friend, would you be ok with it? wouldn't want him to at least give you a heads up?

I know I've asked this question before, but just want to get some more opinions on it. I started to like this best friend of mine three months ago, and I'm just not sure if she also likes me that way or not. We still talk a lot and hang out sometimes. I've had this huge crush on this one boy for about a month now. I really really really like him a lot. From the moment I met him I felt as though I can open up to him and that he understands me. I can't get him out of my mind and me and him joke around all the time. We talk online all the time and he's such a sweet guy. no i am not ugly, guys tell me i am attractive, then usually abandon me, guys fall all over me and then walk away, i've never even had a relationship except with some guy friends from high school who were bored and decided to be together out of boredom, which doesn't count, we didn't even like each other in that way. i don't sleep with any of these guys, and i would even not care if they slept with someone else as long as they paid attention to me, how is it that i am alone, always?

I have meet a guy on da internet. We have spoken 2 each otha only on the fone, & we hav feelings 4 each otha. At da beginning it was all 4 fun, but it has grown n2 somethin special. I have sent him a fake picture telling him dat I am a Dancer. Time is counting down and he wants 2 meet soon. I have been dieting and xercising just incase I change my mind 2 meet him.
