Why is it that people get more upset when you tell them you want to be with someone else than when you........

Cheat on them or do dirt behind their backs. This is more common nowadays. Wouldn't you rather be told first?

Because I think when you tell them you want to be with someone else they realize that it's final and you are done with them and if you cheat or do things without telling them they don't realize what is going on unless someone tells them what's going on. I would most defenitly want to be told first because if not it only hurts more in the end.

maybe because if you tell them about it first, they know you have thought about it and are choosing the other person, where as if someone cheats, they usually try to make it seem better by saying it was a mistake and they didnt mean to.
personally i would rather be told, but i think it still would hurt as much.

telling them befor hand, and not breaking up with them, gives them a chance to think about it, and if you still do it, and they stay with you, they are upset because it looks like they approve...

if your going to be with multiple people, they all need to be aware, and ok with the situation...

you need to break it off first,so you want be classified as a cheater,once you are one of them nobody wants you except for what they can get from you and most cheaters just want that.
