Sometimes guys mistake being nice and funny with flirting. If you like her you must tell her. Maybe she thought you were playing around. Her reply must have been because you said I LOVE YOU. You might not want to walk up to girls and just say this. I think it was her way of telling you," You don't even know me!"
Maybe she really does but you dropped the love bomb way too soon!
