Sure he told your ex. Don't you talk about you ex? Men are no different than women when it comes to emotions or gossip. Actually, the wiser you become the more you realize that women and men have more in common than you think, it's just we handle things differently because of the very nature of men being men and women, well women.

Men confide in other men, other women, they're Mothers, etc. They are just as emotional and I've often heard even more so than women because they feel it is emasculating to be emotional in front of other people.

Let me tell you, my plutonic male friends are some of the most masculine males I know, yet when they're hurt and sad, they go on for hours and days and weeks about it, just like us women. So yes, he talks about you, and he talks about what was good, bad, etc. He needs to get through this break-up as much as you do and in his own time. Again, he's doing the same thing you're doing.
