My man is really distant within in the last week. Nothing has changed that I can say. We have been together for almost two years. He hasn't worked in a while maybe 8 months or so. I guess my question is I am possibly being used for a comfort zone until he reaches another destination?

I am 24 years old and my girlfriend and I have been dating for 3 almost 4 years. We have lived in the same apartment for 1 year. Before they we drove truck for a whole year and got along great being together 24/7 in a small box. However, two weeks ago she came to me and had a really troubled look on her face. She told me that she was feeling no longer in love with me. At first I thought I felt the sameway. But, now it is killing me, we still live in the same apartment. I truly want her back in my life with me. I asked her the other day how she is feeling about all this. She said "I dunno what I want, part of me wants to be with you. The other part of me wants to be single again." I know you can't force someone to be inlove with you. But, is there something I can try to do to bring that spark back for her? Any advice would be much help.

I've been used for sex by alot of guys in the past (black guys in particular) I'm not a girl who acts like a ho, I'm respectable, my friends say I'm classily sexy, so why do guys see me as short-term and not long-term? ok so we have plenty of chemestry and I'll be his first g/f.he's 18 and I am older than him with experience and I'm sure he knows that but doesn't care about my age. anyways I want to take things slow, have lots of fun laughing,hugging,cuddling and being with each other. does taking it slow help him to develope real feelings that can be strong and consistent. I met this guy in '94 and six months later we lost contact. He sought me out this year in April, and I was happy to see him again, he has told me he is engaged to be married to someone else and at the same time has told me he still loves me. Is it me or is a gentleman a rare thing these days, i ask because i've been told i am one (if i sound vain or big headed i apologise) and from what i see most people they days expect women to be at home and do the cleaning and cooking or the guys simply aren't romantic. Is a gentleman rare these days?
I would do all the cooking for my gf, the cleaning, buying things for her, taking her out, i believe that the money she earns is hers to spend on herself and i would take care of the house work, thats just the way i am.

I do it quite often. I especially like it when some sanctimonious, self righteous bigot calls me a loser (or even better, if they write looser) and the answers from what are obviously Americans really make me laugh my pants off.

Part 1) Ladies, if your boyfriend had an ex-fiance (who is now married with 2 kids and one more on the way) from 6 years ago, and all of a sudden they started being friends again (and the ex shows OBVIOUS signs of still being in love with YOUR boyfriend), would you be comfortable with them being friends??

Part 2) If said ex-fiance still maintained a strong relationship (i.e. calling and checking up, coming over for dinner, coming over to chat, etc…) with your boyfriend's family (i.e. parents and siblings) would you be comfortable with that ex being apart of the family??

Part 3) Would you feel that this ex is standing in the way of you and your boyfriend having a future together??

P.S. The boyfriend wants NOTHING to do with his ex, and is trying to get away from her, but his family is making this impossible.
