So you think someone you dump is just going to smile and walk away? Lol! Welcome to the real world, break ups aren't quite that simple. And just because you tell someone to do something doesn't mean they have to do it. If you don't want his IMs, most instant messengers do have an ignore function. Plus he's 14, and most 14 year olds don't do what they're told anyways!

Use the IM's a method for improving your command of the English language. Learn to spell complete words correctly. Learn to punctuate. And, most importantly, learn that you are still young and have a whole bunch of growing up to do.

That happened to me! He is a control freak. You deserve to be away from that. The best thing to do is to ignore him completely. Don't react because that's what he's hoping for a reaction - any reaction to try and hook you back in. Stay strong and focus on something off the computer. You will thank me.

If you can...block him. If you can't...ignore him. Don't respond to his IMs. Eventually he will get the picture. As long as you respond to him...you are giving him exactly what he wants.

he can't just turn off his feelings for you...i would tell him that i am sorry but i can't talk to you anymore...and then just ignore any further messages from him
