don't try and prove anything right now and if she calls you back, don't pick up the phone. Just deal with the police right now if they come to check, and let the rest of it settle down.

First of all, be prepared to verify your whereabouts (employer, time card, boss's telephone number, etc) so that you can clear your name immediately. Second, if she is acting this way...screw her. If she is acting this way, there is no point in even trying to be friends with her or her parents. At least not at this moment. Maybe things need to die down first. So what if she doesn't believe you. Why are you so concerned about what she thinks about you anyway? It's not like her opinions are going to dictate what you do with your life to begin with. So...go ahead and get your documents and statements from your boss and witnesses that saw you at work, time card ect. Cause you are going to need them when the police come to get you.

Well she is just taking the "break up thing" way to hard and did something really bad and now is blaming it on you. Maybe it makes her feel better. Just let her go though this, It can be hard. But just be honest with everyone even if they don't believe you. At least you know that you ARE telling the truth
Good Luck

You can't make them want to be friends with you. They have to decide that on their own. Just treat them nicely no matter what they think about you, say about you, or do to you.
It's possible she may just be blowing off steam. Maybe after some time she'll cool down and things will get better.

why would you want to be friends with someone who accused you of doing something to the police without even asking you first?
