OMG, don't. absolutely don't!!! Maybe flirt with him and make him ask you. But don't ever ask him. He must ask you. If he asks you out, it means that he really wants to get to know you (that's if you want to get into a relationship)

Best way for everyone is an invitation for coffee ( or soda if not a coffee drinker ) . . . this way it is friendly without too much pressure. Persons can get to know each other and if it doesn't work out, then there are no hard feelings from an expensive date gone sour. Save expensive dates for someone you really know ( after good coffee get together ! )

you can ask through talking with him on the internet, on the phone, or in person. it's not that hard once your starting to actually talk... writing a note is no good, because boys usualy don't read them, or don't understand what you mean... so just talk to him, and ask him... you never know if you don't go do it for yourself...
