So my boyfriend and I have been very happy together. He treats me better than anyone has and we are both very happy with the relationship. However, recently I have been a bit curious as to if he is telling me the truth about everything. I don't feel that he lies about things like cheating on me or anything to do with our relationship, however, he lies about pointless random things and even where he is from For example, I have always been under the idea that he is from California. However, last night before I went to meet his mom at dinner he asked me not to bring a few things up at dinner. One of those things was California. I haven't asked him about any of this, and I am not sure whether to make it a big deal or not. I really care a lot about it, I am just worried he has a problem with lying. How should I respond to all of this?

Ok yesterday I went to School and I saw my ex bf wearing a neackles from a Girl "friend" we still argue because we ended our relationship with doubt because I still love him and I think he does too. the thing is that after school i asked him if She wanted to be with him and he told me She doesn't just wants me She loves me...and I asked him did she told you? and he said no, but it feels like she does . It hurted me so much because he made me feel like nothing at the moment It still hurts me. how can i fix this problem with him???? or what should i do???

I have been with the same guy now for over a year but we are having some problems right now in our relationship. We got into an argument last night and I expressed to him that I have not been feeling appreciated by him. I mean when it comes to keeping the spice and the spunk going in our relationship I go all out. Surprises, little games, I mean the whole 9. But I have always felt like he doesn't appreciate any of that and doesn't meet me half way with these efforts. He feels that I am being too picky and not taking the relationship slow. He says I am examining him under a microscope and nit picking at every little thing he does. Right now I feel like I need space away from him to consider if this is really what I want and he is agreeing to give me that. I also have a problem with that as well. I thought he could at least put up a fight and do what he can to make it work between us and acknowledging the fact that us spliting up is not the solution. Can someone help me analyze this??

he told me today that he just wants to be friends FOR NOW...
all my friends and his friends tell me that he's gonna ask me out soon,
just as he gets to know me more :)
i just hope he likes me for my personality too.
i dont want him to get to know me and realize that he doesn't like my personality.. just my looks...

& not ask me out :(

It's a perennial debate on nights out with my friends (male and female). If as a single lady on a night out you spot a man you like, then discover he's wearing a wedding ring, does it make you think, "ah well, never mind, missed out on him, I'll look elsewhere", or does it make you think "married? ok ... so I started dating this nice guy recently. I like him. He likes me. He wanted to go out tonight and I said no, and explained why.

Friday night is my detox from my awful boss and stressful job night. I like to come home, order in some pizza or chinese, have a glass or two of wine, take a bubble bath and then relax in my jammies while I watch some movies on cable and fall asleep early. I also do my laundry on Friday night. It's my night to not deal with anyone or anything but me. If I ever do go out on Friday night, its to get my nails done and rent a movie or something.

All week long I meet everyone else's needs, and Friday night is my time for me. I need this one night all to myself in order to stay sane and balanced.

He wants me to meet him in the city tonight and was practically whining about it. I offered to meet him tomorrow instead. He got pissy with me, and made some uncalled for remarks about my lifestyle and some "changes" I should make.
