why do people get into relationships when its blatently obvious the only outcome will be pain and missery for all?

it seems to me humans are meant to stay single.

There is this guy I am interested in from work, however, I'm not sure if he is feeling the same way as me, or just shrugging me off?? what should I do?? or think at that matter?? It is the fact that when he sees me he will be sitting down doing his work and then hes up as a flash off doing other stuff however when he talks to me he is really nice but it seems as tho he gets himself distracted around me, what does that mean?? another thing he always sighs when he sees me too is that a bad thing?? any advice would greatley help... because i wanna feel if he is interested in me before i make the next move!!!

i am still in love with the girl i want to be over. each time i talk to her i almost feel compulsed to tell her that i feel this way but i cant because if i do i know that it will cause a problem. she has a b/f i want her to be happy and i cant get her out of my head and its driving me to the point where i almost feel as though i have to go away so i cant hurt her and i want to let go but cant. and it makes me depressed thinking about her so often, i know i'm inlove with her but she never ever will love me and i can deal with that so what should i do??

my boyfriend's birthday is coming up in 10 days time & i don't know what to do..i had planned to surprise him by booking a room,getting him a heart shaped cake(which i'v already ordered!),ordering his favourite food and just spending the day togather..now he knows what im planning because of my mom..infact just the cake part(which for me was supposed to have been the surprise)

Ive been single for almost a whole year. Ive been patient and i just havent been able to find a guy for me. sometimes when i go to weddings and a slow song comes on and im the only one still sitting in my chair it sucks big time. Ive even stopped going on dates. Like a lot of guys stare at me, hit on me, and think im pretty but recently i just dont get asked out. It gets lonely i just smetimes want that person to fall asleep next to, call up in the middle of the day just to say i love u, to get dressed up for and just cuddle with. Almost alllll my friends, cousins, sister and brother all have someone and i think im the only single person = ( that isnt even dating/seeing a guy.
