I'm not in a relationship at the moment, so if, say, one of my old high school sweethearts dropped by my house (assuming they could find it on a hillside in the woods), then I might be favorably inclined toward her.
If I were married, it would be different. I doubt that I'd even want an amorous woman to come calling on me and maybe spoil my life with my wife. People don't live long enough to keep going back to the fork in every path just to walk a little way in the road not taken earlier.
