We all crave to be loved. Sometimes, when you think you have finally met your soulmate, especially if you're desperately lonely, you can be blind to all the warning signals that this person isn't as hung up on you as you are on them. This leads to you comprising yourself all the time. The more you do this, the less attractive you become to them, and you will get hurt. All your friends can see this coming a mile off and yet all you are doing is carrying on being an idiot while their treatment towards you gets worse and worse, more and more painful. It's a common occurrence. The only positive outcome to be got from such an event, is to work on bolstering up your self-esteem and becoming more aware if another potentially cruel person enters your line of vision. If you instead allow the experience to harden your heart and refuse to love again, you will have a lonely life. Good luck.

Hey had a few bad relationships by any chance? You can never be certain of the outcome of a relatonship and you can never see what other people have in a relationship. Sometimes the seemingly perfect partner turns out to be the one that secretly likes to beat the crap out of you and the one who comes a across as all rough and tough turns out to be the hearts and flowers guy. If your talking from experience than by all means stay single! But if your judging other people than don't! your not in their relationship so how can you hope to understand it. Hell nothing ventured nothing gained!

Life is so fleeting, yet there are a few certainties... one, is that you will be hurt, a lot, in your lifetime... (if not by love, then there are numerous other obstacles waiting in line to inflict pain SOMEHOW)... and if pain is basically guaranteed one way or another, you might as well through in some sporadic bits of "love", even if just to mix it up a bit. It can take the edge off, at least for a bit.

i think that most people involve in a reletionship even if they know that will not have a happy ending, with the hope that they might change something and everything will be ok.as everyone says that the hope is the last one that dies we don't care about the consequenses as long as we could be happy for a litlle while.for a while i tought the same thing that we are meant to be alone and to pay every moment of happiness by beeing hurt ..........but remember that what goes around comes around and one day sun will shine on your street again!be safe and lots of happiness to u!

That maybe true but remember nothing lasts forever just enjoy the moment. I have alot of hard work in front of me just to get back into the dating game, at one point i wanted to stay single but i remember what i really want, and that is to have someone that cares for me and is loyal, there is no feeling like the person you love, loving you back Or smiling to yourself just at the thought of your other half. I'm scared of heart break but being alone for too long is even scarier.

I agree with you You're right but I still hope I find someone to share my life with eventually. Being single can be fun but I hate being alone at night or having no one to share stuff with. Cooking for 1 washing for 1 eating alone oh God get the violins out I'm Bridget Jones without the happy ending (so far....)

Because this feeling u have when u know someone cares for u is priceless...
Because loneliness is sometimes way harder to bear than the pain that comes from relationships...
Because of this thing called hope which makes ppl go on...

Some people can't tell....it's not always obvious that a relationship is a total disaster even though someone else can tell

Some people have to learn the hard way...even though you tell them they have to see it to believe it

Some people just want to be with someone...even though they may know it is going to be a total disaster they just want to be in a relationship with someone...

I totally agree with you. But just that hope, for wanting to be loved and accepted, make us give into temporary relationships. Just a minutes happiness can sometimes be satifying. People have dreams, dreams to be loved, we always hope, always dare, always dream. We always end up alone and the one hurting, but who knows, maybe one day we might find love. Just keep on hoping!
