of course you should be yourself. i belive that relationships should just happen. spend time together and see how you act with eachother. go do things you like to do and thing he likes to do just to see if your interests match up a bit. dont rush into a structured relationship with someone you dont even know. try being friends that might lead to a much truer better realtionship based on intemacy and true feelings

You're all tied up in knots...you've got to relax. Yes...you must be yourself. Also now is the time to become self assured and confident.
Its easy...all you have to do is want to be that way.
Next...don't just give respect to anyone with a pretty face. Make them earn it first (sometimes they might not be what they appear to be at first.. And when and if ever you are told no, don't let that make you all teary eyed and hurt. Let all "No's" give you strength and make you more confident.
Take your time and don't rush. This is one of the best times of a courtship.
Relax and enjoy.

my o my....wow do women do this to them selves over dudes. Don't you know that a dude just wants to get into your pants. I'm not joking....that is the ONLY reason he is asking you out. So if you want him to get to know you personality then you have to dangle sex infront of him for a bit. But it sounds like you're in HS so I think it's going to be difficult only b/c you don't have the wiles yet and there are plenty of other young females that will have sex with him.
So yeah...just be yourself...and see where it leads. *shrug* good luck

You just don't wanna get hurt? First of all you wouldn't be friends with him if he was going to hurt you. And also if he said he just wants to be friends for now, then let him be friends with you. It doesn't mean he's going to ask you out sooner or later.
I cans ay the exact same thing to you and not ask you out.
Depending on how you act while being yourself.... you should be youself.

Right! Just be yourself. Getting hurt is always a possibility in any relationship. But the rewards so outweigh the pain, it's always worth the gamble. You'll find this to be true your entire life.

that's the only way is just being yourself for him to really get to know you just by being you.and like you said maybe getting to know him a little more you might see that he's not for you after all.
if it ends up working out in the end all the best to you both.

just relax for a bit. it shouldn't be this stressing. if u realy like the person u should be fine iwth it right? just let what happends happen. if he stays then he dose like ur personlity if he dosen't then he realy dosen't like ur personlity. and u should be with someone who dosen't. but getting to know eachother first is important just give it time.

Maybe by the time you roll around to your 14th birthday this will all work itself out. Hang on until then, if it's at all possible.
