Okay, here's my question. Why do people say that the person who turns you down is a ?

Everyone always assumes that if you are turned down when you ask someone out, then he/she (the one being asked that says no) is a superficial turd.

Others, such as friends and family, say "Oh, you're too good for her anyway" or "Don't worry, that guy is such a pig." If this is true, then why the hell are YOU the one who was rejected?

Doesn't anyone realize that the person being asked could already be in a relationship? Or maybe isn't interested in commitment at this point in their lives? Sheesh, not everyone in the whole entire world is a big shithead, you know.

There is this guy that seems to be attracted to me. He is sometimes playful with me and he has this running thing where he calls me penelope eventhough he knows that is not my real name. I have caught him staring at me and checking me out. But I have found out that he has a girlfreid who he seems to care about. But does that mean that he was not flirting with me and that I imagined alll of out? so i've been my gf for 4 months
and before that we were already in love
and at first she said she wanted to wait to have sex until we got married..when she did stuff with an old bf every day...
then she suddenly changed her mind

There is this woman that i work with and i have this huge crush on her.
