Have you ever proposed to someone and been turned down or have you been proposed to and turned them down? Was it a mistake or was it the right decision?

In college, my long-term boyfriend asked if I wanted to elope. It was funny, because we had talked about marriage before. I just kind of blew if off, like 'nah'.... It WAS the right choice! Sometimes your instincts can really help you out.

I was proposed to and turned him down. I know that it was the wrong decision. If he asked again I would hurry and say YES! YES! YES! If your asked think long and hard before you turn him down.

i have been proposed to and i trun them down. it was the right thing to do because he was cheating on me with a so called friend

Yes...big fat girl asked me to marry her because I am so good of a cook. I told her no. It was definitely right decision for me. She became an even bigger fatter woman.
