There is this guy that seems to be attracted to me. He is sometimes playful with me and he has this running thing where he calls me penelope eventhough he knows that is not my real name. I have caught him staring at me and checking me out. But I have found out that he has a girlfreid who he seems to care about. But does that mean that he was not flirting with me and that I imagined alll of out? I should mention that this guy does take care of my mother,who is kinda of patient of his so maybe he is just trying to make me smile becasue my mom is sick and he feels bad for me?

Either way, you don't want to be with him. It amazes me how many people ask "this guy has a girlfriend but I think he likes me, what should I do...?" If he is checking you out and he likes you, then you will be treated the same way he's treating his girlfriend if you ever get with him. He will still be checking out other girls and making them ask this question on Yahoo Answers.

It depends on what you mean by like. If you are a nice person, the he probably likes you and is being nice to you. If he is older and is in a relationship, chances are it is purely platonic. Some guys can't help but flirt with girls, even if they would only ever be friends, of course you will notice the same with many girls. That's my guess as to whats going on in this situation.

Some guys are just really nice and a little flirty. If he has a girlfriend, I would say he's just trying to make you smile. He will let you know when and if he's available by asking you out.

If he is sometimes playful then that may mean he might interested. Just a little.
Checking chicks out is just something guys do. Girls check guys out, too, and sometimes they might not like them?
I'm not trying to discourage you or anything, but maybe he's more interested in his girlfriend.
Maybe y'all should just hang out and just ask him. Don't be like, "Uh.there's something I want to ask you but I'm scared...(etc.)"
Just ask.

Hes probably tring to be friendly, see what all he will start to talk to you about... see where that goes :) But dont try for anything untill you know he calls it quits with his g/f, you dont want to be labeled a whore :)

He might, but he has a bad way of showing it or he is really good at hiding it. If not, he may just be teaing you.
